23.01.2022 Ok I finally succumbed to laying a new floor in the dinning area. Too many people were struggling with the drop down step which was created due to me not wanting to get rid of the original slate floor where I had taken the walls out. The slate was retrieved from the back of this property around 1965 when the extensions where done to the house. So now no more step, making it much safer. But now I am looking at it and thinking great dance floor. Not long now and we will be open for lunches and dinners once again. The borders around the area are so my fur babies don't walk on it but the cat did take a flying leapt over the wall last night and landed in the middle of the floor to get to me and went, wet floor, wet floor and he does not like anything wet. He only did it once.

22.01.2022 What a wonderful time at kondoparinga homestead the finniss river is flowing and the kookaburras are out and about. We have had a lot of rain here and at Strathalbyn the crops are looking fantastic. The horses are as fat as mud pies as no shows at the moment what more could one ask for! Christmas in July starts July the 10th thanks to Ronda at Eureka Tours. We had better cut more wood to ensure everyone stays warm. For a couple of days last week while taking Zayden to school the car’s temperature was 0 degrees. Thank goodness it has warmed up a bit and is 10 degrees for our trip into school at the moment. The third picture is a happy kookaburra out from the kitchen window my phone would not zoom any closer.
