As announced by the Government last night, there have been further restrictions put in place that will affect the wedding industry. Weddings are now only permitted for 5 persons. The wedding venue sits adjacent to the huge main house which boasts wrap around Verandahs to maximise the view and an in ground swimming pool. The bridal suite and its king size 4 poster bed and spa bath offers the couple privacy from the rest of the house. The second venue on the property The Woodcutters Shed is ideal for small low key weddings or as extra accommodation. Val, Andrew and your whole team were incredible.. they took care of every detail leaving us with nothing to do except enjoy the day. Our guests could not stop talking about the how incredible the venue was, and the food OMG it was amazing (Im still getting messages about it) and my flowers were the most beautiful flowers ever! ...You made this whole process so stress free! 10.01.2022 We recently had a query as to whether we need a Liquor Licence for consumption of Alcohol at The Wedding Shed , Kookaburra Hideaway. We already knew the answer, but just as well to check in case of any changes. As confirmed by the NSW Liquor Licencing and Gaming Board, we do not need to have a Liquor Licence because we dont actually sell alcohol... ... The great news is that we are a BYO Alcohol venue and we do not charge corkage or any fee associated with your alcohol. So this will help keep the cost of your wedding down :) However alcohol can only be served by RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) trained staff and we strictly adhere to RSA standards to keep everyone safe.
