23.01.2022 Been so busy, we haven’t had a chance to post in a while so I thought I would share this lovely strand of Tahitian pearls I threaded today with a 14ct yellow gold ball catch. Photos of 3 stages of the threading with completed necklace in the final photo. It will be Going out on display tomorrow just In time for Xmas. Priced at $1500, it’s a beautiful piece. 21.01.2022 Another beautiful ring completed for a client for his special someone. a 18ct w/gold scalloped intertwined ring with 18 x diamonds along the shoulder (9 each side) with 0.55 ct diamond as the centrepiece in a 4 claw setting.

20.01.2022 From a brochure picture a client supplied to us, we handmade this unique 18 carat 3 tone ring using the customers own diamonds which have been bezel set. She wanted the stones to be unevenly spaced and we love the way it has turned out

With 1 carat round brilliant cut centre diamond and 4 small diamonds and 12 ruby’s surrounding the centre stone, we are sure you will agree it is truly stunning.

08.01.2022 This is the finished dragon pendant which has been set on a 9ct y/gold round curb chain. The blue tanzanite stones have been claw set to allow light through the stones to show off their spectacular colour. Definitely one of our favourite jobs to date

They wanted something a little different for their wedding day, instead of the good Ol traditional wedding rings Using the old gold from their grand parents and parents jewellery. We have melted the gold down to make two matching Family trees, set with rubies.

01.01.2022 Another ring finished for a customer. This is a 9ct yellow and white gold ring. Set with Blue 8mm round brilliant cut Moissanite. For for those not not too familiar with this stone, They have a very interesting history. They can also be a little tricky for Jewellers to work with , in that when tested the test will say Diamond when it’s not one at all. One big difference is the price. Being they are a fraction of the price as a Diamond and some Moissanite will not take direct... heat when doing any repairs , even though they tell us they will take more heat than a Diamond. Here is a little info on the Moissanite. Moissanite is a gemstone born from the stars. It was first discovered in 1893 by a French scientist named Henri Moissan, who later won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He discovered microscopic particles of the gem that would eventually bear his name in Arizona, in a crater created by a meteorite that fell to Earth.
