22.01.2022 Kumon is a home-based learning method which is effective because of the partnership between parents, Instructor and the student. In this video, the student is reading aloud to his Mum so she can listen to his fluency and expression. This gives the students Mum the opportunity to guide him by saying, Try that one again. This interaction gives the student confidence to keep going and prevents mistakes from becoming a habit.
