19.01.2022 I can’t believe how time flies. I’m a little late on this one now, but last week I celebrated the two year anniversary of my purchase of the business from the Lake family. Ian and @robynlake who started Lake Leather many years ago in the town of @cobargo in NSW were brave enough to trust me with their lifetime of hard work. I feel very honoured and humbled by that. This past year has been a roughy, but we’re still here and are looking to the future full of hope. I am very proud of what we have achieved in the last two years and look forward to many more years of growth and development yet to come. 18.01.2022 This great idea grew out of the lockdown here earlier in the year. These guys spread some joy by playing music on their veranda while we weren’t allowed out. The idea caught fire and on the weekend of 21/22 November Evandale is holding the very first Veranda Music Festival. 13.01.2022 We’re finally getting our new roof on our beautiful heritage building in Evandale. We have had some epic floods over the years so we are thrilled to be finally undertaking the work. Under the old tin we unearthed the original wood shingle roof, maybe the shingles have been there since it was built in 1840. Don’t be alarmed by the scaffolding around the building, we are open to the public 7 days a week, just like normal.
