23.01.2022 Just a quick reminder to all regarding the Managed Return to School @ Lalor Park Public School Hello Everyone As our students return to their class for one day a week as part of Managed Return to School, we wanted to ensure you had information needed to make this a seamless process. Our Learning from Home model will continue for on the other days your child in not rostered on and families who are able to keep their children home to learn remotely are asked to please do ...so to assist us with social distancing on the other 4 days. However, if you are an essential worker or feel school is where your child needs to be, we have supervision in place to support students to work through their learning packs like the students at home. We asking parents to not come onto site for drop-offs and pick-ups, instead either using carpark or Northcott gates participate in a Kiss and Drop routine. If you are driving your children please enter the school via the school carpark, stay in the car and a member of staff will walk you child into the school. If you are walking we ask you use the Northcott Gate for the kiss and drop and a staff member will be there to greet them. For afternoon pick-ups will be from these two gates. Please make sure your child knows which gate they will be collected from and a staff member will walk them to you. We ask you to remember to practice social distancing whilst you are waiting for your child/ren. If you need to come into the school we ask that you make your way to office and sign in. Our Phased Plan to assist. Monday: 2/6W , 1/2C and 3/4E Tuesday: 4/6R and 5/6H Wednesday: Preschool Red, K/4V and K/4A Thursday: KR, K/5N and 2/3F Friday: Preschool Blue and 5/6U Students of essential workers and students who need to be at school can come on the days they need to. We ask all students to bring a personal drink bottle which can be filled at the taps as the bubblers are not in use as they are being replaced. Please also remember if your child is attending school they must bring their learning packs and their own personal writing equipment. Just remember if we all work together it will everything sorted. We are unable to give you a timeframe on when days will be increased but as a school we will do our best to keep you informed. Stay Safe Everyone.
