19.01.2022 Early this morning LURC received an email advising that all access to MRC facilities and equipment is to cease immediately. This also means LURC members are unable to access the boatshed to use the gym or take boats out. This decision has not been made lightly, but the healthy and safety of our members is our top priority. The rowing community needs to act responsibly and play its part in containing the spread of the COVID-19. The shutting of the boatshed is in line with oth...er clubs along the riverbank. Private scull owners who want to row will not be allowed into the boatshed. You will need to remove your scull from the boatshed by the end of today and boat from an alternative location. As you can probably understand, we're unable to say when we'll be able to get back in a boat, so in the meantime please stay safe, try and keep your fitness, and most importantly, stay healthy.
