07.01.2022 Cycling NSW team Singleton NSW Community thank you for a fantastic weekend of racing. Loads of people giving up your weekends to deliver a great weekend. Harlequin's punching above their weight . Peloton Events JML Racing TrainingPeaks congrats in getting your athletes into great shape Blackchrome Cycling Nopinz Harlequin kit even noticed by the tech team. https://www.facebook.com/prepdhydration/ was crucial for backing up. Beyond the team success el pres Jon Scotsman inspir...ation came from the hand cyclist in the pic below. As Jon was feeling a little sore keeping warm on the trainer between events he watched one of hand cyclists determined to get himself race ready on his own with a local wanting to help. Think about it... "to keep riding, drive to Singelton, set up your hand cycle bike, race on hilly course, recover, pack up your bike and drive home to get on with your day without the use of your legs! amazing and inspired me to get out for my last race of the day and had the pleasure of yelling encouragement to the rider on the way around with who was being personally looked after by a Cycling NSW follow vehicle." Our 2nd inspiration was a competition specifically complemented our little club on its resurgence and support of TT racing in NSW. 3rd inspiration is another athlete helping pin on another riders number. Our 4th inspiration was a food stop Oliver's Real Food on the way home when some locals came up to us and asked "tell me who the mighty Harlequin's are" So a terrific weekend. Congrats to all who took part and in an uncertain world health and local riding Enviroment something to cherish and celebrate. See more
