15.01.2022 LHFC End of Season Firstly a massive shout out to each and everyone of our magnificent coaches for putting their hand up and coaching a team this season. It's certainly been a different year, but despite the difficulties, everyone has made the best of it and it's turned out to be a very fun and enjoyable season. End of season awards... U6 to U9's will be getting medals and U10 & U11 a pizza voucher (kindly donated by Lennox Pizza Pasta, so make sure you thank them when you go in and have a feed). These can be collected from the club house on Saturday morning from 7.30. Competitive teams - There will be no trophies given to players, however we will still be recognising the Players Player and Coaches Award recipients on our facebook page, so if you haven't already sent Chris Bond the registrar your nominations, please do so ASAP. Unfortunately due to lack of time and resources the club will not be in a position to provide the usual team photo certificates. Similarly due to Covid restrictions we are unable to put on the usual sausage sizzle. Return of equipment Steve Ranyard will be at the club house at the below times for you to return all the equipment that was given to you at the start of the season (Team Shirts, Balls, Bibs and Cones). Can you please make sure you collect all the team shirts and hand them in together, as we know a number of you handed these out to the individual players for the season due to Covid, but it is essential we get them all back so they can be used for future seasons (just one missing shirt can render the whole set unusable). If you can't make it yourself please ask another parent in the team to do it for you. Any queries give Steve a call on 0437 860 799. Sunday 27th September 9am - 10.30am Tuesday 29th September 5.15pm to 6.30pm Thanks again for ya wonderful season and we look forward to having you back again next year. GO THE SHARKS

Grade 9 Leopard Sharks Grade 8 Wobbegongs Grade 8 Bullsharks Grade 6 Bullsharks Grade 7 Hammerheads Grade 7 Whalesharks Grade 7 Wobbegongs Please take care when putting down the U6/7 goals as a couple were broken last week and at about $100 to replace we can't afford to be doing that every week.

06.01.2022 SEEKING: New Club Secretary for 2021 season. LHFC is run by a passionate group of volunteers who ensure the season runs smoothly. They manage all aspects of the club from grounds, kit, sponsorship, canteen, coaching and the registration of 700+ players across over 50 teams (seniors and juniors). It's a great community club that's continuing to grow and we're beginning the hunt for a new Club Secretary. If you or anyone you know would be interested in joining the already aweso...me backroom team please message us directly and we us so we can discuss the responsibilities in more detail. Please share this post with friends and groups - thx

05.01.2022 Help us make the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 10th a success! After the Covid disrupted season the club is starting to plan for next season, details of its upcoming AGM are: Date: Tuesday 10th November 2020... Time: 7pm Place: Club Lennox As the area grows so does our player base which is fantastic for the sport and the community. Our volunteer base hasn't been able to expand at the same rate though and we desperately need additional volunteers to join the committee to help take the club to the next level. Everyone has skills needed to help out the club, whether it's writing/posting an article to promote the club on social media, ordering new playing kit/equipment, finding new sponsors or simply setting up the fields. Maybe if you have never volunteered this is the time for you to step forward and do your bit for the community. Please make contact and turn up at the AGM if you think you can help out. Adrian Zakaras (President 0407 061 125), Steve Ranyard (Secretary 0437 860 799) or any other member of the current committee would love to hear from you. Don't be shy, step forward, you'll be amazed what the benefits of volunteering could do for you. 04.01.2022 Please no sharing of drink bottles or food and listen to volunteers. Field allocations for games at Skennars

03.01.2022 Field allocations for this Saturday's games at Skennars. Can the following teams make sure they pack up corner flags (& goals for Grade 6/7) after their game and place in the equipment shed as they are the last team to play: Grade 10 Angelsharks Grade 8 Whalers Grade 9 Threshers... Grade 9 Whalesharks Grade 7 Makos Grade 6 Makos Grade 7 Tigersharks Grade 7 Great Whites It is also very important that everyone adheres strictly to the one parent per player rule. There is a lot of focus on community sport at the moment and if we all want it to continue then this is the small concession we have to make.
