23.01.2022 Meet our Charity - Melon's Cottage We are a respite home set up to help families who have children in treatment for cancer/leukaemia or are bereaved. All families stay free of charge... Located in Lakes Entrance.... Jodie from Melon’s Cottage, humbly told us their story with their son Eli, what they have already done to make the Cottage family-friendly & what they have planned coming up. Eli was born in 2007 & in his honour, Melon’s Cottage was born, opening up in 2012 to families who have children in treatment for cancer/leukaemia or are bereaved. We couldn’t be prouder to announce that Melon’s Cottage will be our #Rocktober event Charity, that we will fundraise for. Go Gold For Kids With Cancer

17.01.2022 Hi Everyone, on behalf of LE Rocktober committee & myself, we regrettably announce, that due to the Covid 19/Corona Virus situation, we are postponing LE Rocktober until October 2021. We have been hanging on to hope, that life will return to normal, however, as the restrictions continue, we are saddened at the realisation we have to postpone it. Unfortunately even if they allow us to return to life in August or September, we wouldn’t have time to raise the funds for the ev...ent, we wouldn’t morally feel right asking for sponsorships etc from business houses as they have been hit hard with their doors being closed for so long between the fires & the virus. Plus grants would be slim atm also, with the virus handouts etc. With this new timeframe, we are aiming to & should be able to fund the event ourselves next year. Although we have postponed, we would still love to invite all of you to #LERocktober2021. The actual date will have to be confirmed when we can rebook the venue. #StayTuned We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the encouraging messages & offers of help we have had, regarding our Event & we will take you all up on those offers next year. In light of the Covid-19 Corona Virus pandemic, I’ve had quite a few asking if this event was being cancelled? ~ at this stage, we are still planning ahead for Lakes Entrance #Rocktober in hope that this virus will be under control in 7 months time! 08.01.2022 Good morning everyone, as most of you know #LERocktober has been postponed until next year due to the Covid-19 virus, so we are busily starting our own fundraising to keep the costs down on our ticket pricing, by funding the event on our own.
