22.01.2022 A wonderful morning ar the Lord Forrest Hotel for the Breakfast Rendez-vous on Sunday 11 February. 6 new faces and lots of great conversation. The book and DVD lending library was a hit also. Lovely food and atmosphere.

19.01.2022 Le Rendez-vous mensuel du Club sest tenu hier soir au pub Le Parade, lieu sympa qui ne déçoit pas. Une superbe occasion de bavarder en français de tout et de rien, de faire de nouvelles rencontres ou encore demprunter des livres ou DVDs en français. Merci à Roslyn, notre bibliothécaire mobile et prompt rétablissement aux trop nombreux membres de notre conseil dadministration qui nont pas pu profiter de cette soirée automnale. The Clubs monthly Rendez-Vous was held at the Parade Hotel last night, a no -fuss venue which doesnt disappoint. A great opportunity to chat in French, meet new people or even to borrow books and/or DVDs in French. A big thank to Roslyn, our mobile librarian and prompt recovery to our too many Committee members who were unable to enjoy this autumn evening. Keep an eye on this page to find out very soon in which new exiting place the next Rendez-Vous will be. Until next time !

For those who want to experience them a bit differently, you can go to Museum After Dark - Vive La France for food, live entertainment and off-the-panel exhibition tales and tours with Museum Curator, Dr Michael McCarthy. 18.01.2022 Our members enjoyed a shared lunch today to celebrate Bastille Day, with delicious food, a glass of champagne and lots of French conversation. South West residents who love things French are welcome to come along to our Club Rendez-vous.

They have bred Normande cows for two decades and produce the best cheeses. Please give this hard working couple your support by buying this cheese - Won by Daniel who was over the moon.
