17.01.2022 GOOD MORNING GREATER BENDIGO a day to smile from behind our masks! As we emerge from Stage 3 restrictions this morning, we move to a new step in Regional Victo...ria. No reasons why we can’t leave home and businesses will be able to trade with outdoor dining and some limited indoor. Everyone has worked so hard, today we hope that our next steps to social and economic recovery will safely take place. Remember masks, 1.5m and hand hygiene are our new normal. Abide by numbers in shops and ‘be kind’ to our business operators as they start to gear up. A mock up of what Bull St could become!! Businesses call 54346000 for assistance on outdoor dining extensions, redline extn approvals and environmental health assistance. Let’s get Greater Bendigo ‘open for business’!

09.01.2022 A little bit of cuteness! (perhaps a little known fact - our Community Development Worker Kerry M. Parry used to play piano accordian!) Does anyone else care to share a "little known fact" in the comments below about something you used to do? Let's have a bit of fun together :)

08.01.2022 Regional Victoria is on the Third Step to COVID Normal. What does that mean? No restrictions on the reasons to leave home. But, when you do, make sur...e you wear a face covering, unless you have a lawful exception. Groups of up to 10 people can meet outdoors and you can create a social bubble with another household. Cafes, restaurants, beauty and personal care, and some outdoor entertainment venues are now reopening. Venues are providing outdoor areas with a group limit of 10 people and density restrictions. There are no restrictions on how far you can travel within regional Victoria. However, you must not travel to metropolitan Melbourne except for permitted work purposes. If you can work from home you must work from home. Make sure to keep yourself and your loved ones safe by washing your hands regularly, coughing and sneezing into your elbow, and keeping at least 1.5 metres from others. As always, if you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) get tested and stay home. Find out more about regional directions: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/third-step-restrictions-regiona
