21.01.2022 Hi everyone! Welcome to our official Little Diggers Childcare Collinsville page. We are progressing along nicely with this venture with an aim to open our non-profit, community owned and run, childcare centre in July 2020. Our achievements to date are as follows; ABN registered Building lease approval is currently being drawn up the Education Queensland legal team. Opened a bank account Formal commitment from various vendors... Granted provider approval for one of our committee members Gained interest from various potential employees Recieved support and commitments from various businesses in and around town to aid in our opening. Obtained 3D and engineered building plans by a building designer. Our next steps will be to get the building plans council approved, and put in for tenders for our construction. 16.01.2022 A massive thank-you to our Collinsville Workers Club for their generous donation of $5,000 The workers club generosity is renowned throughout our town with their continued and varied support of various local events and non-profit organisations. Today is the Miners Memorial Day which is held at the workers club, starting 5pm. The members draw is also up to $3,500

11.01.2022 And the winner of our "Guess the lollies" is.... Julie Smith! A big thank-you to Collinsville IGA for their donation of the lolly jar. A huge congratulations to all involved in the "100 years of mining celebrations" yesterday. It was a great family day for all.
