24.01.2022 Today starts our daily Book Week celebrations...see you all soon dressed as your favourite book character!

20.01.2022 Good morning families Due to the weather we have experienced yesterday and continuing overnight, we now only have a skeleton staff of educators able to attend the service today. The safety of our students and educators remains our top priority and as such, Little Adventures will remain open, however if it is at all possible that you could consider keeping your child at home today, it would be appreciated. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and advice from recognis...ed authorities, and contact families to collect their children throughout the day if advised. Thanks you for your understanding. Regards, Renee.

20.01.2022 Just a reminder to all of our families that we will be closed on Monday 5th October 2020 for the Public Holiday. Enjoy your long weekend!

20.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing maternal role models who choose us to be a part of their childs life. It is a privilege!

20.01.2022 As this unrelenting weather is predicted to continue into tomorrow, just as with Friday, we will only have a skeleton staff of educators able to attend the service. The safety of our students and educators remains our top priority and as such, Little Adventures will remain open. As current advice from the State Emergency Services suggests only leaving your home if absolutely necessary, we would appreciated your consideration of keeping your child/ren at home if at all possib...le. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and advice from recognised authorities regularly during the day, and contact families to collect their children if advised. If you advise if you intend to, or to not send your child as soon as possible it would be appreciated. Thanks you for your understanding. See more

19.01.2022 A big thank you to all of our families for your patience and support through this difficult and ever-changing time as we understand that many of you are experiencing stress and hardship during this coronavirus pandemic. Little Adventures Early Learning has a duty of care to protect the health and safety of you, your child/ren and our staff, so we can continue to provide a high level of Education and Care to families. The new Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package... that was introduced on 6th April has been developed to support both families and services together to maintain viable quality Early Childhood Education and Care that will continue to be available once this coronavirus pandemic has passed. In line with Government advice, Little Adventures Early Learning is fully supportive of prioritising those families that require care. The current priority of care is: Children of essential workers (those parent(s) that are working whilst their child/ren is in care)and Children and families who are vulnerable and/or at risk. The package supports families to keep their children at home when not working, so that families are not charged any child care fees and are guaranteed to keep their places at our service at no cost until this crisis is over. While this new package is great for families, it means that as a business we are only receiving half of our usual fee based income, along with some wage subsidies, to keep our doors open. This means that significant staffing changes are required to maintain viability. Asking families to keep children away from our service is not something that we wanted or enjoy doing. We need to do our part with limiting un-necessary contact and practicing good social distancing in order to keep your family and our staff as safe as possible. We will continue to work as hard as possible to provide a high quality service though this pandemic and look forward to resuming our service to its full potential when the time is right. We will continue to provide further updates as required, in the meantime please assist us in following the Government advice and understanding the challenges we all face. Your understanding and support of the current situation is greatly appreciated and from all of the staff at Little Adventures Early Learning, please stay safe.

19.01.2022 Tomorrow we will be participating in the annual National Simultaneous Storytime. You can join in from home by registering using the link below.

18.01.2022 SERVICE CLOSURE MONDAY 22nd March. Please be advised we have made the decision to close the service today for the safety of our children, families and educators. An update will be provided later in regards to Tuesday. Stay safe.

16.01.2022 FAMILIES ENCOURAGED TO GET GRUBBY BY SIGNING UP TO FREE PROGRAM Local families are being encouraged to sign up to a free program designed to teach them about e...nvironmental sustainability. Council has signed up to the Get Grubby program, which teaches kids about the importance of recycling, composting and gardening. Get Grubby is aligned with the popular ABC Kids TV show of the same name. Designed for 3-10-year olds and their families, the program is delivered through a monthly email from dirtgirl. The e-mails will be jam-packed with activities, music, printables and exclusive resources to help families grow a family garden, make compost and cook the harvest, along with recycling fun, sustainable DIY, nature play and getting grubby outdoors. Council’s subscription makes the program available for free to local families. To sign up go to: https://www.dirtgirlworldshop.com/ggp-family-activate-kemps

11.01.2022 Just a reminder to all of our families that we will be closed on Monday 8th June 2020 for the Public Holiday.

10.01.2022 It is hard to believe that a new financial year is nearly here! Which means, it’s time to update your family income estimate if you get Family Tax Benefit (FTB)... or Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for 2020-21. We’ll write to you soon to remind you. Updating your income estimate will help make sure you get the right amount of FTB and CCS. Even though you won’t pay child care fees until the end of June, you still need to update this information. If you get JobSeeker Payment, Coronavirus Supplement, or JobKeeper Payment you’ll need to include them in your family income estimate as they’re taxable payments. The $750 Economic Support Payment is not taxable and should not be included in your estimate. The easiest way to update your family income estimate is online using either your Centrelink online account through myGov or Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. Read more about this here: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au//update-your-family-i
