22.01.2022 A special thank you to our friends at Liddell Glencore for their support; helping keep us in the air and getting families home to rest and recover from their treatment We could not do what we do alone... but together we can create powerful change for those children battling serious illness. Keeping families united. #partnershipswithpurpose #yourjourneyourmission

22.01.2022 The fellas are all smiles and why wouldn’t they be after an incredible day. Mammoth Project hosted their 8th Annual Charity Drive Day where they raise funds to support our continued cause. It is so touching to see that even in a year like 2020 which has been financially crippling for so many that communities can rally together for a greater cause. Thanks to their incredible work, Little Wings can proudly service an additional 61 families who are in desperate need of support.... The effect this in turn has on local communities and economies is unmeasurable. Thank you MAMMOTH, we are incredibly blessed to have you supporting us. 61 families have you to thank for their upcoming flights and transport to critical medical care. #inthistogether #teamspirit #charity #community #partners #driveday #onthetrack

21.01.2022 Last week, Little Wings officially launched a third aircraft; gifted by the federal government in hope of supporting more families from across regional and rural NSW. We at Little Wings are so very grateful for support from Michael McCormack MP and David Coleman - Member for Banks, helping build our capacity and efficiencies with this addition to our fleet. Further to St.George Bank, who have been a vital partner in helping keep this aircraft in the air during the peak of CO...VID and beyond. We proudly sport the Little Dragon on the nose of the aircraft.... a favourite with our families! Finally, we had a very special family, long term Little Wings flyers, generously share their story to showcase the impact of our service. We are so privileged to be a small part of your journey, thank you Keep your eye on the sky, this aircraft is something special. #yourjourneyourmission #Launched #thankyou

20.01.2022 Little Wings have launched a new program with HNEkidshealth and the incredible support of Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation. This program was developed in direct response to COVID and the unique health needs of seriously ill children residing in regional and rural NSW. We are so proud to have such great partners and look forward to the program launching in October. We hope to see some 300 children supported with this program. #inthistogether #partnerswithpurpose #yourjourneyourmission

Thank you!

19.01.2022 A big thank you to the Maitland Classic Motor Association (MCMA) for this ongoing support, especially during the challenges of 2020. Whilst the restrictions of COVID have limited their ability to host their famous motor shows and fundraising opportunities, their community have continued to dig deep and support in powerful ways. Thank you for your belief in the Little Wings service and your ongoing passion for the families across regional and rural NSW. Whilst you many never m...eet the children that you support, your impact is felt greatly by many. A special shout out to Michael See, the MCMA Vice President and long term Little Wings volunteer, you are a force to be reckoned with and we are so grateful that you are on our team, championing our cause with every opportunity. 16.01.2022 Safety is everything at Little Wings, it’s part of our DNA. Every function of our organisation is governed by this core value. We understand the challenges that caring for a sick child can carry for family unit, so the last thing we want you to worry about is safety during travel. It’s why we are so happy to have Sophia working with us as a volunteer safety officer. Along side Southpac Aerospace we have taken our safety to new heights, with sophisticated technology donated to help our cause. Thank you Southpac Aerospace, from us and all the families who fly with us at Little Wings.

14.01.2022 Today, we saw one incredible strongman, Troy Conley, step up and attempt to smash a Guinness Book of World Records for most cars pulled by an individual (male). Whilst a crazy adventure indeed, we didn’t walk away with a Guinness World Record but inspired a little girl to dream big and truly believe she can be anything she wants to be despite the challenges she’s faced thus far and that is truly priceless. The fundraising continues in hope of raising $30,000 to support the ch...arities that provide wrap around support services for seriously ill children from regional and rural NSW; those being Littles, Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney You can donate here: https://au.gofundme.com/f/car-pull-for-kids Finally a huge thank you to the people behind the scenes that made the event possible, Hyundai Help for Kids, Sydney Metro Airports and Bankstown Sports. The detail, effort and enthusiasm was noted by all. #carpullforkids

14.01.2022 COVID has been a challenging time for everyone, and Little Wings Ltd has not been immune. Whilst we are extremely proud to have maintained our service and supported families without failure during the pandemic, we have also had to listen to the expanding needs of our partners, families and the wider community of NSW. As a result, a key partnership with Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation has seen us expand our scope and support the delivery of pop-up clinics in regional and rural NSW. Assisting seriously ill children that are at heighten risk to corona virus and are in need of medical care. HNEkidshealth, and their paediatric medical teams, continue to work closely with our service to reach children in need but to also relieve pressure on the healthcare system and protect our regional communities from COVID transmissions.

08.01.2022 We are proud to welcome our brilliant new safety officer, Sophia. She is volunteering her time to ensure Little Wings stays true to our core value of safety. Currently working in commercial aviation, Sophia wanted to give back to a meaningful cause using both her time and talent. We at Little Wings hold safety to the highest standard, so much so that our lovely partners Southpac Aerospace delivered some additional training to Sophia to prime her for the role. Their partnersh...ip has been invaluable to our operations, taking our already exceptional safety standard to new heights. To all our existing and new families, you will be seeing a lot more of Sophia around the hangar as she ensures you have the most comfortable and hassle free flight possible. So glad to have you on board Sophia. #safetyfirst #safeflight #yourjourneyourmission #volunteer #flyinghigh #safetravels #partnershipswithpurpose

06.01.2022 Little Layla, receiving her care kit thanks to our amazing sponsor St.George Bank adding some joy and comfort to our travelling children. She is joined with mum and grandmother all the way from the far north west of Walgett. She is 2 and a half years old and is one of an incredible 33 cousins, her grandmother proudly shared. To give you perspective of how important our service was to the family, Layla was flown in via emergency services, with her mum having to follow via an ...11 hour bus ride. The family had no set way to return home, which is where Little Wings stepped in. Her grandmother Janette had this to say.. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this service. I truly can not tell you how grateful we are. It was a scary time being flown in via emergency services. It’s been a really tough few days for our family and we had no way of getting home. So we are so happy to have Layla well enough to return home and to have been referred to Little Wings, your work will echo throughout the families of the bush. We are not just a transport charity, but one which keeps families together or apart for as little as possible in the toughest of times. More families like this need our help, for every family we share there are many more go unserviced. Head to our website to support our great cause. #bush #flyhome #walgett #togetherness #closeknitfamily #yourjourneyourmission #support #regionalnsw

05.01.2022 Introducing Miss Ava, all the way from Forbes. She is now 5-years old and in remission. Her days with Little Wings are happily numbered! But it has been a bumpy few years for Ava and her family. At the age of 2, Ava was diagnosed with Leukaemia... their entire world was turned upside down. Trying to run a farm, care for Ava’s four older sisters and nurse Ava back to health has been a scary, confronting and long journey... but one this family took on together.... Flying routinely with Little Wings, living at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney for months on end, becoming a permanent fixture at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, these are merely the challenges and sacrifices made that are visible. It is the many surgeries, appointments, endless anxiety, the guilt and grief that takes the ultimate toll. But today this family are reunited with the news of Ava’s remission. She is back in school and living a happy life. When we asked Kathy, Ava’s mum, how Little Wings impacted her family and their experience during this heart wrenching medical journey, she said ‘if Westmead Children’s Hospital saved Ava, then Little Wings saved my family’. We are honoured to have helped, and will continue to help children just like Ava. We solute you Kathy and will champion Ava’s cause for the days to come. #yourjourneyourmission
