13.01.2022 Hi all, Ive just registered with this service (http://architectsassist.com.au/) via the institute of architects which is offering pro-bono registered architects services to those impacted by these awful bushfires, please pass it on to anyone who may need in our community, it looks good. If you wanted to keep it simple though, just drop in or send me a message. My office is upstairs from the new Drop-In centre at the hive opposite the police station. More than happy to have a chat, do a site inspection to offer some free advice on whether a property is safe, consider how structurally substantial any damage may be, or help you understand the council, building processes and services out there. 09.01.2022 Hi All, It is becoming increasingly frustrating that some businesses in the Shoalhaven are referencing themselves as architects when they are not legally allowed to use the title under the NSW architects act 2003. Architects registration is controlled by the NSW Architects registration Board and is illegal to use the term in any form, unless your are a registered with the NSW Architects Board. Please check anyone referencing themselves as an architect using www.architects.nsw.gov.au, this will display their rego number and address of business. If they do not appear, please report them to the board ensuring your consumer rights are protected and you recieve the qualified service and consumer protections an architect provides.
