25.01.2022 thank you yes rocky is fine of course stitches and medication for a couple of weeks ,,thank you a,b, but we had water it was d.v.a. putting in bath room suitable for colin and we are lucky had other house to use bathroom ....letting every -one know our bowls club have new uniforms arriving all new design and logo ....another way of advertising our town.....as you can tell not a lot happening at take-away ---but c.shell .real estate extending congratulations to luke and rachelle acouple of young locals that work hard---bye Cheryl

23.01.2022 we have had really lovely people in shop this week-end and what a storm yesterday ,,power went out while trying to make coffees and steak sand thank god it come back on as we are all electric also so much stock in ,anyway good luck if you have a bet tomorrow we close at 2pm as of course watching the cup ,,,we will not be open boxing day as not enough staff will open 27th dec til 27th jan 7 days longer hours details will be on shop window beginning of December -to every one travelling arrive safe and see you xmas time regards from all in shop

18.01.2022 well long time no news ...but spring has arrived and we hope warmer weather we are just surviving the long winter months and now hope to keep shop operating into next year ..we have some wonderful customers like 1 to-night loves our food especially the scallops --comes from s.a.and will be back nov but raves about our food so makes it worth the effort ,,,end of sept opening 7 days lunch times then thurs nights plus fri and sat nights ..hope to have speciality dishes thurs nights a lot of home cooking available as take-away ;;;;each wed we will advertise the thurs dishes available --------------i.e. fried rice -scalloped potatoes --pastas and small pizza to order roast to take away we will advertise all these on shop window as notice board SIGNS DISAPPEAR .

16.01.2022 hello to every one and hope we see a few holiday people with the school holidays ;;;;;;colin was taken for a little ride to sale by ambos yesterday he is still there best place for him -----but thank you to tracey and kylie the drivers that attended you done a wonderful job -------he missed by 2 weeks to make a year since strokes -------- we have been so excited that we sold a house to be able to take a break ----and have a bit of free time ----but we can do that once he gets home --

16.01.2022 what a lot of rain --tanks flowing over ---but our workers from pssa still arrive for lunch and sit out on window ledge under the eaves to eat a few maybe inside ---these young men doing the job rain or shine ,,,we find them all well mannered and cheerful each day and we try and keep them well fed ,,,thank you you are great customers from myself colin and staff Write something...

15.01.2022 hi firstly colin is home they wanted to put him into care but best care is home care so I would not sign papers we are sure here is best ------it was good to see sunshine even though winds are chilly and great to see the skate park is so popular especially with mums and dads down there with the kids-----we are open now 7 days lunch 12 til 2 .we have a few small cakes and do-nuts available to have with a cuppa ....scoop ice creams are cheaper at present for holidays ,,,chercol=ectables is closed untiloct 3rd and 4th due to ill health of our volunteer helper ---

14.01.2022 well hello to every one -our trading hours are changed as of mon we will be closed mon tues and wed opening thurs 12til 2 and 5-30 til 7-30 pm also Friday and Saturday same as thurs and sundays open 12 til 2 long week end for melb cup extended will be on shop window ---from boxing day open 7 days and nights ,,,until end of jan ;numerous reasons for closing the days we are ---regards Cheryl ---

12.01.2022 well finally a beautiful day for spring and beginning of school holidays in town ---wonderful customers in the shop even though very short staffed we got there ----enough warmth that a few ice creams sold --we have our scoops 2 dollars cheaper than normal for holidays as need to move ice creams out to get newer flavours in----still closed sun and mon at present re-open tues lunch time ..rang colin to-day he sounded a bit better he said are you lost no just could not get to sale to-day so a bit of cheek means he must be a little better ---I hope so ,as when he is not around it is a bit boring ---I will pass on all well wishes .bye for now Cheryl

12.01.2022 hi we were open sunday lunch time ----but we will not be opening sundays now until after the 27th December,,,i run this shop all through the off peak season employ locals and take the bad with any good ---but people have still 2 other outllets sunday to get food the café in sanctuary road and a food van outside the caravan park ----this was here from cup day last year and over our peak time so it is back -------I the town cannot support 3 outlets so rather than commit business suicide I am closing sundays ==we will also shut down prior to xmas from the 20thdec until the 27th dec we will operate 7 days and nights then wishing every one an early great festive season ----from colin ,Cheryl /and all staff

10.01.2022 we have a few nice home made cakes in at the moment ==thanks pam yummy as I tested of course --drove down lake st early to-night lake was like glass beautiful ==looking good for people in this week-end to enjoy the water ==have a great week-end go my eagles but I think hawks will win .

04.01.2022 we will be open Thursday nights from the 1st of october5-30 til 7-30pm ,,,,plus fri and sat nights now open 7 days 12 til 2 to every one interested,

02.01.2022 cup week end opening sat and sun mon 11til 8 tues 11til 2 also wed 12til 2 then normal thurs fri sat and sun until boxing day where 7 days start through festive season
