23.01.2022 LAAARBS!!! Great to see one of the great young kids to come through our club, stepping up and making the most of his chances at Launceston FC. Michael has always had an excellent attitude and a real willingness to listen and learn, with his natural ability quickly making him a cult hero at Tigerland. It's also a credit to our coaches and football department for setting up a strong pathway from juniors through to senior footy. And encouraging youngsters to take steps forward ...in their development. You still have a lot of fans from your time at Longford... Keep going Larbs

20.01.2022 Hi Guys, after a lot of consideration and with a view to the most recent advice from the government Arch and I have reluctantly made the decision to cancel tonight's player meeting. We have had discussions with our coaches and they consider that communications over social media as regarding league updates and current and future training to be the most appropriate, indeed this is currently happening. The club will remain open as normal on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights a...s a service to our players and members, however we would ask all that attend the club to wash their hands on arrival and as appropriate while in the club and to observe the government advice as regards "social distancing". We consider that we are taking a leadership position in the community with this and other actions associated with COVID 19 and are sure that all players and members will understand. Could all players please PM me or send via text or messenger their current email and telephone details (even if you think I already have them) so we can ensure that we are effectively able to contact you as regards updates, particularly in this fast paced environment of significant disruption and change. As always please feel free to contact Arch or Dennis with any questions or concerns. we love you guys David "Archie" Blair & Dennis Dwyer

If you are keen to put your name down, or if you have any questions, please contact us and help us make this happen. Go girls. Go Tigers!!!

04.01.2022 The Longford Football Club is super excited to send out a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Isaac Chugg. Isaac has followed in both his father and grandfather's footsteps, in pulling on our famous yellow and black jumper and becoming an outstanding footballer with elite speed and a strong competitive streak! As a junior at Longford, Isaac was always a great team player and as he progressed through to the state teams and senior footy in the TSL many Longford supporters kept a close ...eye on the development of one of our local stars! Today getting drafted at pick 28 in the AFL rookie draft is testament to all the hard work and strength of character that Isaac has always displayed. No doubt there is a lot of hard work ahead in joining an AFL list, but through every adversity he has already faced, Isaac has shown a strong will and put his head down to embrace the challenge. We are looking forward to seeing you thrive in an AFL environment. All of our members and supporters are proud of what you have achieved and look forward to supporting you on the big stage! Go Isaac!!
