25.01.2022 24/7 we are there for you, nothings changed. Best wishes to the new service of Fire Rescue Victoria. Old friends with a new name! We still work as one!

21.01.2022 Finally remember our burn days are Wednesday and Saturday between 1000 and 1500. Please register your burns at least 30 mins before ignition on 1800 668 511.

21.01.2022 Just to let you know, we will be testing the Community Warning Siren at approximately 1915 hours tonight (7:15pm for those who don't speak Military). Stay safe

21.01.2022 Please welcome to town the friendly CFA Community engagement team. They will be door knocking around town to check if you have a fire plan, and if you haven't, they will happily advise you. If you go to answer the door, please be covid safe and wear a mask!

21.01.2022 New just in from CFA land.

20.01.2022 This afternoon/evening we will be having our annual Santa Run along Mountjoy Parade, finishing on the grass at the playground area of the foreshore. Unfortunately the jumping castles etc won't be in use, but what's better than a couple of fire trucks to climb over. Santa should be arriving around 1745 (5:30 pm in normal speak). Hopefully the rain dissapears before then! See you all there

18.01.2022 We would like to recognise the continual support of our local Foodworks in Lorne, and it's fantastic management and staff under John Stewart. Once again, they stumped up the lollies for the Santa Run, which as you would imagine, disappeared faster than a choc top in a heatwave! We are so lucky to have the support of them and all others in our little town! Thanks again to all who helped out!

18.01.2022 Protect those who you love

13.01.2022 We work as one, as usual!

10.01.2022 What else can happen, clocks go backwards tomorrow morning. Cats and dogs getting along??? Here's a hint, turn them back 1 hour before you go to bed, and give old mate with the flashy light on the ceiling a new battery; like you were going to be doing something more important, like googling which is quicker, speed of light v's speed of dark (think about it, there is a theory, willing to discuss ). Above all, be safe, stay nice, and keep your brigade where they should be at the moment, at home!

09.01.2022 From our mates up the road. Being "fire safe" doesn't stop after summer!

09.01.2022 FYI, News from our mates to the north!

09.01.2022 Get ready, and be prepared!

08.01.2022 Check on the kids appliances before you go to bed, all exhausted after home schooling

07.01.2022 So, how safe is it???

07.01.2022 There will be a test of the Community Alerting Siren at 1400 (2pm). There have been works done on it that require testing. Thank you.

05.01.2022 Yesterday our brigade responded to a non structure fire on the foreshore. Please be careful when using this type of equipment, make sure the canister is properly mounted in the chamber, and that it has locked in. You can see from the damage to the frame, the force of the explosion. Or better yet, use the electrical shire bbq's situated around the foreshore.

03.01.2022 Good information right here!
