25.01.2022 Well spring is certainly here and so is extended Weekend hours at the MAAC 8 am to 6 pm with the outdoor pools having two hour sessions - 8-10, 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6. Our capacity is still capped at 40. Hope to see you this weekend MAAC #Moree

21.01.2022 Just confirming that the MAAC will be closed for the long weekend, given the recent announcements for the reopening of Gyms with restrictions on the 13 June, pending the advice from the Government we will look at reopening operations including Artesian pools around this time. 16.01.2022 What we definitely know We will reopen the Gym on Saturday 13th June New Hours Mon to Fri 6am-10am, 4pm-7pm Sat and Sun 2pm-6pm It will be $5.00 per gym session, time limits may apply All memberships and visit passes will remain suspended for the time being... Everyone will adhered to government regulations, sanitise their hands on entry, maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times and when using the gym you must use a towel and wipe down each piece of equipment used with disinfectant provided. No showers will be available and there will be limited toilet facilities No water bubblers will be available at the centre, water will be available to purchase or bring your own. The gym equipment has been spread out into the Group Fitness room allowing for a maximum of 48 gym users at any one time. Time limits may apply, depending on demand. Each session will be a max of 60 mins Group fitness will not recommence until a later date MAW (day spa and beauty services) will not open until a later date The Olympic pool has been closed indefinitely for repair We will continue to review our procedures What we are working towards Artesian water access on Monday 15th June in the Wellness Retreat $5.00 flat rate for a 50 minute session, no concessions Maximum of 10 people per session A booking system for hourly session New Hours Mon to Fri 6am-10am, 4pm-7pm Sat and Sun 2pm-6pm Bookings will start on the hour ie 6am, 7am and will last for 50 mins to allow people time to leave before others arrive and staff time to clean between groups. Bookings will only be taken for one week in advance to minimise the chance of no-shows. One booking per person per day We ask that you come ready to swim showered and in your Swimmers ready to soak and you consider getting changed at home when you are finished No showers will be available and there will be limited toilet facilities Sauna will be available for a maximum of 2 people at a time Coffee and snacks will be available for purchase What we dont know yet How many of you are willing to come back When the Outdoor Pools will open, including the waterslide and childrens water park When Group Fitness will commence When Beauty services will commence When our full Caf services will commence When the Olympic pool will reopen
