22.01.2022 And the story continues. https://www.abc.net.au//message-in-a-bottle-sende/11323400

17.01.2022 Today in the Herald Sun, a Victorian paper, this company featured (on page 36) an article about our struggle with Centrelink who no longer provides information about beneficiaries. Those benes known to Centrelink are the most vulnerable in our society and are in need of their entitlements..

14.01.2022 In August last year this company was asked by the Commonwealth government to quote to find the current owners of land at Tullamarine Airport (Melbourne) which they informed us was still in the name of John Pascoe Fawkner. John Pascoe Fawkner died in 1869 in Victoria leaving a very detailed Will. After looking at the Will of JPF we understood the enormity of the job and quoted an initial budget to the Commonwealth Government. There are few organisations with any experience in... undertaking a project such as this. This company has the experience and capability of finding the owners of this land. The Commonwealth decided to compulsorily acquire the land (an easier process than find the current owners of the land). I agree with their decision as undertaking the research to identify and locate the heirs probably would not have been 'clean'. But the research would have been a great job.

08.01.2022 Curiously, over the past month we have been approached by many people asking if we could trace his or her biological father (usually name unknown) when the name of the father is either not on the birth certificate, or known to be wrong. In every case the person approaching us has had their DNA tested by one of the many vendors offering the service, but did not know what to do next. In each case those contacting us was over 60 years of age. We have a little experience in cases such as this and could tell them that we may be able to find their father’s grandparents or great grandparents but it was unlikely we could actually identify their father. And the process was long and costly, usually over $15,000. As time goes on and many more people have their DNA tested this might change.

04.01.2022 A year ago I posted about the CEO of State Trustees (in Victoria) employment being terminated. He denied wrong doing. And yes there has been legal action the results of which are posted on ST's website. https://www.statetrustees.com.au/former-ceo-mr-craig-dent
