25.01.2022 It was a fantastic effort yesterday at the Summer Island flood recovery planting day. The enthusiasm and efficiency of the volunteers on the day was a joy to witness and be a part of. Thanks to this effort another 235 trees of 20 floodplain species were planted and now the site is primed for a post flood recovery. Thank you to all involved on the day and behind the scenes.

08.01.2022 Happy to see these Pepperberry trees planted today at Summer Island. As I keep telling everyone it's a return to country for these canopy trees on the Macleay f...loodplain. We also planted some White Beech, now my head is really swimming....I've also added the mandatory Fig photo just to reinforce the success of this planting site. Thank you to our volunteer crew today who make these days so enjoyable. See more

06.01.2022 Feeling very satisfied today with our Tree Planting for Success workshops held at Wittitrin, Willawarrin, and Hickeys Creek over the last week. The good turn-ou...t, enthusiasm, and discussion shows the high levels interest and need for knowledge out there for tree planting. Its great to be delivering this program in partnership with Kempsey Shire Council Recovery, with more workshops to come. Check out the program at the KSC Recovery webpage.
