As the yoka, marman and koorlangka (women, men and children) gathered together to sing, boodalung (pelican) circled and the clouds parted to display a brilliant boolarang meeka (full moon) . Thank you to Kobi and the Social Impact mob for sharing this kwobidak (beautiful) experience with your MM mob. (Thanks for the photos Susie Waller.)

11.01.2022 Soon well all be singing the Six Noongar Seasons Song. This song, full of culture and science, was written by the Koorlong team with Della Rae Morrison and Charley Caruso! Charley has been in the studio mixing some moorditj (deadly) beats and has come up with a kwobidak (beautiful) arangement! Music allows us to feel, learn about and understand the boodjar (country) on which we live. Elders have shared that if were all closer to boodjar, reconciliation and healing can take place.

10.01.2022 At rehearsals last night, Poppy spoke with us about this project at Galup (Lake Monger). Djinang!

We were honoured to listen to the schools rendition of Paul Kellys From Little Things Big Things Grow. Thanks also for the sausage sizzle afterwards where we all got to know one another! See more
