25.01.2022 It's our bday in a box, and you're invited! We have taken a single Willett bourbon barrel filled with our 2019 Negative Light imperial stout 18 months ago, and split that stout into two bottlings. In one version you have straight-up unblended and full-on 18 month bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. In the other, the beer has been married with cacao and vanilla to give an additional layer of decadence. The accompanying glass was made with our friends at Boomstick Glassware ...specifically to enhance big stouts like these. It's a real looker too! These beers and the glass are exclusively available in our Bday in a Box, which you can purchase now on our online shop or at the brewpub. Being a single barrel, these are VERY limited. 20.01.2022 Just got rained on and kinda feel like a dark beer...but it's hot as, humid and require ultimate refreshment. We have a beer for that! Sleight of Hand is our freshly tapped summer dark lager with minimum roast and maximum crisp.

18.01.2022 Fresh tap Friday...Sleight of Hand is a dark lager brewed for the summer season. We keep dark beers rolling on tap all year round but when it gets hot we tend to swing them in the crispy direction. Sleight of Hand is Euro inspired with a subtle roast, some herbal German hopping and a crisp pilsner-style medium bitter finish. Yes, this one is rather dark in colour, but you can crush these like no tomorrow in the summer heat. Enjoy the weekend!

11.01.2022 It's a triple beer release kind of week and to take that thought to the next level we've made it a triple collab. beer release kind of week. Party Cardi is a soft and springy hazy IPA brewed with the team at Blackhearts & Sparrows - Huell Melon sets a fruity base but that Cryo Cashmere hop-smoothie is what takes this cardi into party mode. Natty Lime Squeezer is a complex yet completely integrated wine lime cocktail of a sour beer we concocted with Noisy Ritual Urban Wine...ry. It's a gose salted sour that's been conditioned with their 2019 Sauv Blanc and we squeezed some lime in for a top-note of bright citrus. Elevated alfresco game. Nona's Special Sauce is a both simple yet layered summer pale ale brewed at a distance with our friends at Winona Wine in Manly NSW. A pale and dry base beer leaves a wide-open avenue for Ella, Azacca and Cascade hops to burst with fresh fruit salad. A contemporary classic. These are now available at our brewpub and online shop, via our collaborators and in very limited quantities at other good-drink retailers around Melbourne.

05.01.2022 Bread brew! When life gives you loaves, you don't loaft. We have re-purposed some unsold day-old sourdough from our friends at Wildwood Bakery to make beer! This grain-bed will set a complex base for a new saison to be conditioned on blood orange and ginger. Yum!

05.01.2022 Some may have seen a masked moose on 9 News Melbourne 7NEWS Melbourne or ABC News last night. The story was about the toll that Covid 19 has taken on the hospitality industry. Business Victoria has recently released a hospitality grant to help pubs and bars get through the current hardtimes during Victoria's lockdown. Unfortunately brewpubs like Tallboy and Moose, who's primary reason for existence, and only viable business model being to operate a pub-style hospitality venu...e, have been deemed ineligible for this grant. We are stoked with the support we've had from our local community and our team of hospitality professionals working on our bottleshop and online store. Speaking alongside other Victorian brewpubs and the Independent Brewers Association we would love to have the support of Jaala Pulford MP and Tim Pallas to reconsider our eligibility for the hospitality grant...at the end of the day we're here to operate a pub for our community. We can't wait to be back pouring pints for you all soon in a safe and sun-soaked spring/summer!
