25.01.2022 Guys, Its Turn and Learn Time & the game called "Turn and Learn"YES, IT IS. Lets have fun with it. It includes two sides mat (Number & Animals) and a spinner box. When the arrow landed on the different gesture and animals/numbers, children have to recognize them and place their hand/foot on the correct place quickly. Its a good group-time activity as they achieve these objectives for their learning about numbers/animals together.

23.01.2022 Learning about personal hygiene with Toddlers. To develop childrens learning about healthy lifestyle , hygiene, wellbeing and self-confidence. At group time we provided some books about these subjects to read with children. The books were about hand washing expert, brushing teeth and how to look after our teeth. While they looking at the pictures, we were discussing about the pictures as well. Then we practiced how to wash our hands, faces and teeth with the song. "This is a way we wash our hands early in the morning," and children copied acting by rubbing their hands together and patting their head pretending to washing hair or brushing teeth.

20.01.2022 SINK & FLOAT EXPERIMENT What a fun and meaningful experiment. The Educator collected different objects such as a metal paper clip, a golf ball, a nail, a dinosaur, a rock, a feather, and a cube. The children were encouraged to predict whether the object is going to float or sink and then we were testing their ideas. In this hand on experience, the children have enhanced their science and math understanding, through prediction, comparing and testing they have further developed their math and science language " Float and sink" and " heavy and light.

18.01.2022 Sensory walking-exploring the sense of touch My kinder children really enjoy doing sensory walks. A sensory walk is a great way to explore the sense of touch, especially for children with sensory processing needs. Here is the order of how I designed this sensory walk: different kinds of beans, flour, leaves, marbles, and artificial grass. You can ask them what their favourite material was and how each tub felt for them. This is a great way to talk about textures and sensory attributes(hot/cold, squish/hard).

18.01.2022 Happy Easter from everyone at Early Learning & Kinder We hope you have a safe and wonderful break!

16.01.2022 What an awesome day! Kinder Room were ready to make 3D spring tree by using cardboard box. The Teacher helped them cut out the tree outline and combined the two trees by sliding them perpendicularly into the slots. Kids decorated the tree with colourful paintings and flowers and they kept chiming in with more and more ideas. The children really enjoyed the process of making dimensional tree and the reaction from them was priceless!

16.01.2022 In light of the tragic accident that occurred yesterday. We wanted to remind you all about safety to protect children, families and educators in our cars. Please hold your childs hand / carry your child when walking to and from the entrance of the centre.... Do not leave your engine on and transmission in park when leaving your car. Please drive very slowly when entering and leaving our carpark - 5-10km/hour We do ask that you park carefully and ensure you are between the lines. Do not leave children unattended in your car at anytime. All children and adults should be wearing the correct graded and fitted restraints while in a vehicle. Again our thoughts and love go out to the family, children, educators and community during this time.

15.01.2022 Nurserys children had a painting activity with different colours of salt&flour paint. The educator poured the mixture of flour, salt and water into three bowls, and added different colours in each bowl. The children encouraged to paint on a big piece of paper using their hands. Through this activity, the children have developed their social skills as they interacted with each other by painting on the same paper together, copying and laughing with each other. The children have developed their sensory dispositions and fine motor skills as they touched and felt the salt&flour paint to paint using their hands.

10.01.2022 It is the best time to do some gardening. AWESOME SPRING DAY. Today, Kinder room planted two avocado seeds in the water. Growing an avocado is wicked fun because the whole process happens clear as day, right before our very eyes. Once the children were watching, rinse the seed well, cleaning off whatever sliver-ous delight of avocado might have clung to it. According to this experience, they were learning about where fresh food comes from and doing something fun and productive with gardening. All the children loved this experience.

04.01.2022 Sensory & Calming Bottle Based on the childrens interests and previous making secondary colour experience, we made a sensory bottle by using oil and food colouring at this time. Children were going to explore cause and effect, perception, problem solving, science concepts, and how objects can be used through this experience. After that, the Teacher gave everyone a small cup of sensory oil to take home and encouraged them to share ideas with their parents.

03.01.2022 The Kinder children are in the journey of learning about road safety. This week they focus on understanding how the traffic light works.

03.01.2022 With rainbow parachute, we can do various activities. The children can focus on rhythm and listening skills while working together to move the parachute in different ways. A fun gross motor activity! Playing parachute takes great concentration as the children reach up high and then down low, all the while hanging onto the handles. And then, some go under the parachute while the others continue to move it up and down. The parachute can also act as a tent. They love to hide inside it! Lets start to move and shake!

03.01.2022 What a MESSY and FUN play with shredded paper this week! The Educators put some small animals in the shredded box and encouraged children to find them. They scooped up some shredded paper, crumpled them and threw them into sky. So much shredded paper on the floor like a heavy fall of snow. Shredded paper is a tactile sensory learning experience. It creates so many new play experiences and promotes gross and fine motor skill development.

03.01.2022 Kinder Room started a project about the Solar system based on the childrens ideas. We talked about the solar system and recognized different kinds of planets. Whats more, we used video to help us gain more knowledge about solar system. This project was sparked out of the kinder childrens idea, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to enhance and further develop their understanding of the Solar system.
