24.01.2022 COVID-19 Update for March 21: Dear parent or caregiver, We would like to reach out to you all during this difficult time to assure you that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and at this moment we are operating as normal.... If your child, or anyone in your family is feeling unwell, or has recently been overseas please stay home. We have changed our normal procedures as follows: - At the start of the day, drop-off your child at the school gate where a school staff member will be stationed - Send an SMS message with your child's full name to your child's teacher or to 0412 423 404 when you are dropping off or picking up your child. You do not need to complete the sign in / sign out sheet. - Hand sanitizer is available in classrooms for use throughout the day. - We will be carrying out additional cleaning of classrooms and resources at the start of the day before school starts. - We ask that your promote the importance of good hygiene to your children, including handwashing with soap as handwashing is the single most effective way to reduce the spread of germs that cause respiratory disease. Ученики 2-5 классов исполнят танцы волн и богатырей. 12.30-12.45- антракт по классам 12.45-13.15 - Сказка С.Т.Аксакова Аленький цветочек в исполнении учениц 9 класса (класс Элеоноры). 10.01.2022 Dear Parents, We would like to invite you to attend our end of year performance, featuring Vasilisa the Beautiful. This is not a public event, and is only for parents with children who currently attend Maroubra Russian School.... This will be held at 12pm in the school hall at La Perouse Public School. Bookings are essential, so please register your attendance prior using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/maroubra-russian-school-end To make a booking you will need a password, which can be obtained from your child's teacher. Please note due to capacity restrictions, we can only book a maximum of 1 attendee per child, however if there are spaces left on the day, we will try to accommodate additional attendees. Remember to maintain physical distancing, and stay 1.5m apart from other parents and teachers. If you or your child are feeling unwell, please do not attend and notify the school. For absentees, a video recording of the performance will be available afterwards. Parking on-site is not available, however there is unrestricted street parking around the school. From 10am-4pm, La Perouse Public School will be holding event for the whole community at Yarra Road, Phillip Bay. The event will feature: - Performances by Tiptoe Giants, Soulganic, Gondwana Choirs and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. - La Perouses famous Snake Show will showcase some of Australias most venomous snakes. - Market stalls and a variety of food stalls and trucks including, Turkish Gozleme, Greek Souvlaki and mouth-watering burgers. - Botanys famous Brasserie Bread will be present with their delectable breads and cakes. - Giant jumping castle - Inflatable obstacle course - Flyingchairs - Pony rides - Craft activities - Face painting - Hair braiding - The Soccajoeys will also be stopping by to train budding players. - A giant chocolate wheel for a chance to win some great prizes. Its been great to see the school grow over the years and this Saturday, the school is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
