24.01.2022 Yesterday saw me have no alcohol for 7 mths and feel great for it. I still enjoy a non alcoholic beer - heaps of options available, when we are socialising, fishing or camping. No alcohol is just a way of life for me now



23.01.2022 After a so so week smashed out the D workout from Warrior this week 10rds 2 min work/1min rest. It was brutal and thought i was going to doing it but felt great after for doing it. Have a great weekend everyone

23.01.2022 Whirlwind trip to Mackay with Dr and Ortho appts for me and Bridgy but got the chance to catch up with some great friends and family and also some workouts - thanks for having me visit Warrior . Also stocked up on everything for the family that we cant readily get in Weipa. Early start tomorrow for our trip home

21.01.2022 Been a tough couple if weeks training with not being able to eat much and no consistent training. Getting back to some Consistency this week and thanks to Warrior for modifying to suit my needs and energy levels. Just did a great Wednesday wow and looming forward to being able to train in the gym at Mackay from Friday. Loving my new gym area at home



21.01.2022 What a crazy year it has been with Coronavirus but on top of that physically for me. We are currently waiting for a diagnosis of a neurological condition that I have been experiencing since January - shaking down my whole rhs of my body, walking slowly, running into things, having some falls and balance issues, reductions in some if my fine motor skills - i hate buttons and zips, extreme fatigue and having to reduce my working hours to part time. Also just had another skin... biopsy from my back. I may not be as strong or as fit as I was 7 years ago when I did tough mudder but I am strong because even though its tough, hurts and sometimes I dont want to do it, I have been training consistently, eating healthy since March and no alcohol (this has been since Jan). I still have my symptoms but feel so much better for it. Just getting up and doing that workout when you would rather stay in bed is making you so much stronger than the person that doesnt. 21.01.2022 Start to this week hasn’t been the best exercise wise - timing of dome of medications has been off/late. Was not feeling it at all today but decided to go to boxing tonight (its a great exercise choice for Parkinsons). Was great to get back to and i think i will include a session most weeks. Looking forward to virtual tomorrow morning at 7.30am with Warrior

20.01.2022 So after a tough month with Bridgy not being well I was back into it today. I am making September - No Excuses September. I would love for you all to join me. All it involves is being active at least 3 days each week for at least half an hour with no excuses.



19.01.2022 Second week of the year and did another great Warrior C workout. Sometimes we can get complacent training by ourselves at home so I upped my weights today and doing a virtual session tomorrow. How have you been active today

18.01.2022 How has everyones start been to the New Year. For me it has been good - no alcohol training consistently and eating to fuel my body. Let me know your goals for 2020. Mine is to continue and concentrate on both my mental and physical health

17.01.2022 My anniversary pressie arrived yesterday and Bridgy and I put it together today ready for its first workout tomorrow. Thanks Mick

16.01.2022 Consistency is the key. Started back after holidays on Saturday With exercise and esting and have managed to be active each day between my Warrior External workouts and lighter activity of walking and getting Bridgy more active with her fatigue issues. Although my wow workouts were for 30min I only had a 20min window so adapted to that. Its not about making excuses for not to do it but finding a way to get it done.

15.01.2022 Haven’tdoneva Sunday Sesh in a while but did obe this morning. It was a hard one and there was a little hiccup (a fall while doing my running/shuffling in 13th rd) but enjoyed doing partnered workout with Caitlyn this morning. Stay positive everyone and heres to a great week ahead x



14.01.2022 Haven’t been feeling it for the last couple of weeks fatigued and shaky but got more of a strength workout done just now. It was 10 exercises 10 reps so decided to go heavy on weights and make it a 500 rep challenge. Finished with 30 burpees - 2nd physical challenge achieved for the Warrior 6 week challenge 1st was 10 get ups non modified with 2.5kg weight. Now to see if i can achieve a 1km run. 13.01.2022 Waited for it to cool down before doing my workout today just finished now and it still feels like 32’ outside. Tried a D workout from Warrior - 8tds of working for 2.30min 30 sec rest. Such a great feeling once you get it done

11.01.2022 Saturday workout done with the new rower. I haven’t been feeling the best but got it done. Did Warrior’s D workout 4min work 2min rest work was an amrap of 5 exercises Rowed 90 cal and managed to keep my av 500m on the row under 2min. Hopefully we will get this health sorted soon #warriortribe #noexcuses

11.01.2022 Monday started off right with a good quick intense workout even though its still over 30’. 4rds of the C workout from Warrior last week. Can’t wait for 2 weeks time when I can train at their new custom built facility with Caity. She will definitely push me

10.01.2022 Enjoyed my rest day yesterday watching this beautiful sunset at Penne and sleeping under the stars. Back into it today with another strength workout with Warrior External. Remember the first workout back is always the hardest. My workout areas today and the sunset yesterday below x

10.01.2022 What a week - most training I have done in one week in a long time - trained every day except for Monday since last Saturday and feeling great. Yes it is hot up here even after 6 as my face shows. How has your week been?

07.01.2022 Awesome day at Warrior today. Did 45kg squats 30kg cleans and 70kg on the sled plus 18 box jumps. So good to be able to train in at the gym

06.01.2022 So after having the last 4 mths or so focusing on my health I started back at work this week doing sonething completely different at Woolies - just 5hrs a day but loving it and bonus getting at least 20000 steps each day - who would have thought. 04.01.2022 Love Wednesdays as its WOW Wednesday. Been trialing doing my workouts in afternoon instead of morning (meaning morning sleep in yay) this week and it seems to he going well. Thanks for a great workout Rebecca and pushing me through the whole 30mins. Looking forward to my rest day tomorrow after 4 days straight

Having a sick child for the last 4/5 weeks I have been slack on the workout front and its been a couple of weeks since my last workout - been feeling so drained. 01.01.2022 Might be chilly in Mackay but still really warm up here even at this time of day. First day back at work today after holidays and finished the day off right by getting my workout done - no it isnt easy and I could of easily just skipped it but I feel so much better now for it.
