12.01.2022 Stage 4 restrictions in Real Estate currently apply. Rental properties are unable to be viewed in person and only services related to settlement and end of lease including removalists are allowed. Sales property can only be viewed and marketed on line with no private showings. Has this affected your plans to buy, sell, rent your current property?

01.01.2022 Reminder to clean air conditioner filters and have systems serviced as we enter warmer months. On Tuesday (3/11/2020), Edithvale CFA was responded to an air-co...nditioner on fire in Aspendale. Upon arrival, crews were confronted with a fire in the evaporative air-con unit that had spread into the roof of the single storey house. Fortunately, all occupants had already evacuated safely. Crews from Edithvale and Fire Rescue Victoria station 90 (Patterson River) entered, wearing Breathing Apparatus (BA), to conduct an internal attack. The fire was quickly contained and suppressed, but unfortunately, extensive damage to the property had already occurred. Due to the warm conditions, additional BA crews were requested from Patterson River Fire Brigade. Bayswater Fire Brigade-CFA BA Support was also called to provide on-site service of cylinders and sets. Crews were on-scene for quite some time, ensuring that all hotspots were fully extinguished, and assisted the occupants by retrieving belongings, documents, and pets (including a snake!) from the house. The occupants of the house reported that this was the first time they had used their evaporative air-conditioner after winter. This serves as a timely reminder heading into summer, to ensure cooling equipment is serviced, particularly after a long period of non-use. CFA (Country Fire Authority) #cfavic #WeWorkAsOne
