24.01.2022 Melbourne Rabbit Clinic will be closed on Monday 8th June due to the Queen's Birthday public holiday. We will reopen to see your bunnies and piggies on Tuesday the 9th of June. Over the long weekend, we are having our IT experts configure our clinic emailing system. This means we will be unable to respond to any emails over the long weekend. We apologise for any inconveniences and we will endeavour to respond once it’s back up and running! Thank you for your understanding.
22.01.2022 Hello to all our clients. The huge storm last night has caused us to lose power, and our phone lines are down too. Due to no power, we have been forced to close early today in the afternoon. If it is an urgent matter, we recommend calling your nearest emergency centre. We apologise for any inconvenience. ... We all hope it will be back on tomorrow. Stay safe everybun!
11.01.2022 On Thursday we had a wonderful afternoon at Melbourne Rabbit Clinic. We were absolutely overflowing with gorgeous guinea pigs! Take a look at all these adorable faces we got to meet. If you ever have any concerns about your guinea pigs, please don’t hesitate to give us a call, we are always wanting to meet new piggie friends!
11.01.2022 Hello everyone! We STILL have no power or phones in Ferntree Gully. This means we sadly cannot call any clients today to reschedule some of your appointments. If you have a booking today that requires electricity, such as an incisor trim, it may be best to just not come in and call us Monday to reschedule. We are so sorry for any inconveniences today, this storm has really done some damage. Bunny and piggie toes crossed it comes back Monday!
06.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) update We are currently still open at the Melbourne Rabbit Clinic! Like many vet clinics, we are unsure of how the next few weeks will pan out and we appreciate your patience in these unprecedented times. Please help us to ensure our staff remain healthy and safe, so we can continue to look after your pets. Please do not come to the clinic if:... - you are feeling unwell or are experiencing cough, cold, fever or flu like symptoms. - you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days. Consider rescheduling your appointment or asking a family member to bring in your animal. When attending the clinic, maintain a safe distance from our staff and other clients. We are happy to talk with you over the phone before your appointment, and for you to leave your bun or piggie by the front door for us to collect and take care of your little one for you. Please use the hand sanitiser at the front desk on arrival and when leaving the clinic. If you are early, please wait in the car until your appointment time. Only one family member/owner to attend the clinic for their appointment. Where possible please pay using credit or debit cards or over the phone, to reduce cash handling. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation at this time. We are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide your bunnies and piggies with essential veterinary care. We do not always keep our Facebook page updated, so please contact us for any further information and updates! *Please note, Nurse Rach’s bunnies are an example of how NOT to social distance!*
