24.01.2022 MTT 28m all set up for a Time-lapse camera install in Noble Park for a council building project thats well under way. Check out that blue sky!!!

22.01.2022 See a short clip of the recent ad shoot utilising our very own MTT-23m Tower in South Bank. A big crane was holding a large illuminated orb resembling a moon over the line workers (actors) in our bucket. Mark worked 21.5 Hours straight on this project - What a legend.

21.01.2022 MTT 28m up country on a hill over looking Beechworth on an installation for an emergency paging system on a mobile phone tower for Ventia. The views are incredible and its a cracker of a day.

20.01.2022 Our new 28m Pocket Rocket Travel Tower was finally branded with signage yesterday and is now ready for work. What do you all think?

20.01.2022 Its the third day of summer but no one has let Ballarat know. We've got a cross hired 40m Travel Tower on hire for a sign installation in 909 Sturt St Ballarat that requires an 18m + side reach. The installation is working out perfectly so far. Happy Days. Now for some brekky!!

19.01.2022 Our compact MTT C28m on hire for Window cleaning at The Flower Drum Restaurant and Freshwater Place in the CBD early this morning. Its small footprint makes for perfect setups in tight lane ways. No job too big or too small with our new addition.

19.01.2022 NBN network repairs and maintenance today in Warrandyte in our 27m Travel Tower. Steep hills and long reaches - No Worries

18.01.2022 On NBN maintenance again today in Warrandyte in beautiful countryside and sunny conditions with too much time on my hands. Long overdue for a selfie - apologies in advance.

18.01.2022 Its a beautiful Sunny Sunday and Disasterous Dan has announced this afternoon that all of us Melbournians will be forced into Stage 4 Lock Down. Nothing else to do so may as well wash some towers because we still have a full week of work booked but who knows what's going to happen after Wednesday. Will they shut us down or can we keep working. Only time will tell.

18.01.2022 Had a very Interesting day today. Was called out for an emergency tree removal because the root bed of a large gum tree had lifted out of the ground and was leaning dangerously towards a house in Ferntree Gully. I started to reverse our 20 tonne 27m tower into the property and the concrete collapsed due to water erosion over a long period of time under the footpath and driveway. We then had to wait onsite for 4 hours twiddling our thumbs until council showed up to inspect the... damage and give the go ahead for to us to enter the driveway for the continuation of the tree removal. Approval was finally granted and we were able to enter the property and remove the tree in a little over an hour much to the relief of the elderly lady who owned the house. Thanks to Andy Holt and Clancy from Mountain District Trees and Stumps for doing a great job and for hiring us to assist them with this job. See more

17.01.2022 Its that time of year again - The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race 2020. Our 23m Travel Tower is all set up and ready to roll for the first day of testing on what is going to be a very hot day.

12.01.2022 We received an urgent call out for a time lapse camera installation. Of course were very happy to oblige and our 12m Travel Tower is perfect for tight set up spots such as this one

12.01.2022 I wondered why my posts were not getting noticed in recent times. Checked my settings and found that the company profile was locked down and not accessible to audiences in the USA, UK and Bloody Australia. The issues have now been rectified and we are now back on the air. Giddee Up!!!

11.01.2022 No job too big and no lane way too narrow. Well not this one last Saturday at least. Battery swap out on a Vodafone telco site in East Melbourne. Not so Squeezey for our little 28m tower which is 2.2m wide and can be short legged where possible.

11.01.2022 Haven't posted for awhile as we have been experiencing a glut of emergency essential works for all manner of trades, but mainly trees after the big blow a few weeks ago. Thanks to all my great clients for using our services. I even got to pat a dingo puppy in our travels. Hang in everyone - Hopefully Chairman Dan will fall on his sword or be relieved from his position sooner rather than later. Cya on the next one

10.01.2022 MTT has been involved in some interesting jobs over the past few weeks. We've installed signs from Ballarat to Essendon and everywhere in between, helped repair the down lights in the driveway of The Grand Hyatt Hotel, installed a restaurant exhaust fan in Prahran, Helped clean the roof of a bandstand in Moonee Ponds and yesterday we assisted with the rescue of a much loved cockatiel named "Mosti" from a tree at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Chadstone and thats just a snap shot of the projects we've been involved with. There is no job too big or too small at Melbourne Travel Towers. Give us a call if you require height access for your next project and we will do our best to make it happen.

09.01.2022 Key Hole Surgery with a 20 Tonne 27m Travel Tower. Not quite but that's what it feels like today on a call out for emergency repairs to a slate roof in Queens Rd Melbourne. We've had to manoeuvre the boom between two apartment blocks to reach an access door to gain access to the inside of the slate roof. The cement cornices on a chimney collapsed bc they were only siliconed on. Hard to believe but true.

09.01.2022 Is it Easter?? Who would have thought!! Our 12m tower worked yesterday on an NBN project in Mt Evelyn and Montrose and our 23m tower is at work this morning on roof repairs for a primary school in Deepdene. I'm happy to be outside working rather than bunkered down inside our home going stir crazy - Happy Easter Everyone!!

08.01.2022 This is the reason why we needed a strategic little travel tower with a small footprint but capable of a big reach. Narrow driveways are now no problem for our new 28m Travel Tower. Early this morning we were on hire searching for roof leaks on the old slate roof of one of the original buildings at Trinity Grammar School in Kew.

08.01.2022 Some MTT snap shots over the last month of successfully completed projects including a friendly little bushy tail possum on our job this morning in South Bank

08.01.2022 NBN Maintenance on 10 degree slopes with a 20 tonne 27m Travel Tower. Up to 15m Side Reaches over gullies and in between trees. A professional NBN team and a very efficient well run traffic management crew. A job well done and we all went home safe. It was a very tough but satisfying week at Melbourne Travel Towers

07.01.2022 Up to now I had dodged any night work but tonight my luck ran out. Our little MTT 28m all set up on The Eastern Fwy near Chandler HWY exit to assist with painting over the graffiti on the overhead gantrys from 9pm until 5am.

07.01.2022 MTT has just had our biggest month in turnover since we started in the tower business 8 years ago - who would have thought in this current challenging environment!!! A big thanks to all the support of our loyal customers and for those new customers who have given us a go.

07.01.2022 MTT Breaking News!! We added another travel tower to our small Fleet and we now have four. Its the lightest and smallest truck in our range at only 6.3 ton, 2.5m high, 2.2m wide and 7.7m long but it can go 28m straight up and provide a side reach of 13m from 2m to 16m high. Its bucket is rated to 350kgs and capable of a 75 degree rotation. Its perfect for tight spaces and light enough to work on most surfaces. We've completed a couple of jobs with it already and cannot wait to build a loyal client base for its capabilities.

05.01.2022 Two call outs with two clients in two different towers and only one operator!!! Theres never a dull moment at MTT. Had an early morning with the new little 28m with glaziers in the CBD and now at Richmond on a plumbing project in the insulated 27m travel tower. Now all parked up, done and dusted!

04.01.2022 Our MTT 12m Tower setup safe on a steep driveway in Mt Evelyn so an apiarist could extract a hive of bees that had made their home inside the opening at the top of the pole. With the bees safely interred in their new hive after two hours NBN maintenance could be carried out on the pole for the surrounding houses.

03.01.2022 Snapshots of our week. Roof inspections in Kew, Telecommunications work in Brighton and Bonbeach, Tree jobs in Abbotsford, Fitzroy and Burnley, A week long plumbing project in Richmond, Banner installations in Chadstone, Port Melb and Preston, Time lapse camera installs in Dallas and Wollert, Public lighting in Dandenong and Security lighting at Cranbourne Training Complex and lastly window cleaning tomorrow morning at the Flower Drum CBD. Whatever your task MTT have a travel tower/truck mounted cherry picker to suit your project and we will travel anywhere to get you up there safely. Have a great weekend everyone.

02.01.2022 Ok I'm back in the swing of things as best I can after losing my brother Daz over Christmas. I have been back in the saddle since the start of February. A big thanks to Mark Irvine my No.1 operator for stepping up and keeping my towers operating while I was having some time off. In the meantime we've been flat out providing height access for all manner of projects including filming an Ad for powerline workers that will be shown overseas, Lots of tree removals and pruning, Big... advertising banner installations, Telco work on Mobile Phone Towers, Multi storey housing maintenance on gutters and roofs, Re-attached eave sheets on an assisted living complex, Time-lapse camera installations, Street lighting maintenance, Sports lighting installations, LED sign repairs at shopping centres and attended an emergency callout for damaged roofing on a Department of Housing block in Richmond. Thank you to all my supportive clients over this time and remember whatever your project we have got you covered at Melbourne Travel Towers.
