15.01.2022 Its amazing how much a small flock of sheep eat. Since harvest we have been running sheep in the vineyard to reduce the weeds and grasses. The savings vary but we expect to avoid one slashing and one herbicide pass thus reducing input costs and reducing our carbon footprint, thus doing our little bit to help the environment and Climate Change. #margaretriverwines #margaretriver #margaretrivertourism #margaretriversites

03.01.2022 The grapes are coming along fantastically this year. The hot weather is doing wonders to the Cabernet Sauvignon. Weve decided to go early with the bird nets this year. Theres not as much bird activity (yet). But that may change quite quickly. Harvest is still a good 6-8 weeks away. Maybe a bit longer. Depends on sunlight, heat and a few other factors.
