25.01.2022 You can still have fun and enjoy life and activities with the right measures in place

24.01.2022 Howdy hope everyone is well and getting through these trying times , shouldn’t be too far away and we may be back to practice with a hitting partner soon as for Comp probably early next year , like me and everyone we can’t wait to get back on the courts , As soon as we know and work out a COVID plan with the council in the near future we shall let ever know ASAP until then stay safe and well ,

21.01.2022 Don’t hold your breath everyone, it’s a lot more complicated than just starting backup , there are so many rules and conditions you have to abide by , we are searching away to make it work and we will definitely let everyone know via email plus social media, some clubs around Victoriia from what iv been told won’t even start back until everything is back to normal because it’s just to difficult with all the rules in place , we at least are going to have a good look at it , WATCH this space for further updates , Regards Melton South Tennis Club

21.01.2022 Hope all are well anyone missing tennis I know I have , no word yet on when we start back but watch this space fingers crossed soon , went down to the club and have taken the nets down so the surface can be replaced in the next week or two good time to do it while there’s no tennis , stay well and safe and hope to see you all soon

20.01.2022 Finally some good news Tennis is legal again well to a certain degree for now , soon as we get a COVID plan in with the council we shall have the courts back open for practice, unfortunately probably no comps not even social competition either as no club rooms can be open for now anyway , shall be looking forward to seeing everyone back for practice I know I need some

19.01.2022 Just a quick update to let everyone know all activities at the tennis club has been suspended such as social and coaching tennis lessons , everyone will be updated via emails for who it will affect directly , with this space as soon as we are allowed to start back I shall make it known , thanks for your patience and understanding during these out of the ordinary times we are facing regards MSTC next page see updates

19.01.2022 Merry Christmas to everyone hope you have a great day , enjoy and stay safe on your holidays , we will for to seeing you all back for 2021 from the Melton South Tennis Club

17.01.2022 All we are waiting for is the council’s approval should receive that today and we are ready , so coaching and squad alike should be able to start

16.01.2022 Good luck to our teams playing off in their Grand Finals this weekend, a shortened summer competition has had quite a few close finishes to get in the finals some just missed out by a point we are still proud well done to all who participated and that includes the parents driving and the early starts there would be no comp without them , Good-luck and play hard but have fun ,

16.01.2022 Just checking out the courts with the drone , looking good the new mod grass held up perfect after the heavy rain , some of the Tuesday evening in-house men’s social playing

14.01.2022 Hello everyone, good news we have limited access to the courts as of now , some of the guidelines are doubles can only be played by family members, singles can be played with another member yes only members are allowed onto the courts with the 25km limits as so we have trace backs and records for the authorities of who have been on the courts, currently with one hr bookings with a half hour gap this is firm there will be no relaxing the rules until further notice from the cou...ncil, Coaching will be also allowed that will be done on the blue courts casual practice on the mod grass , Dane will fill in the guidelines or the coach at the courts when students book their lessons, yes you would think mr Andrews was running our courts directly but the at least we can get back on , we shall see what further changes are this Sunday , we shall be looking forward to our in-house social tennis comps and and the WRTA junior comps and senior pennant to start back hopefully soon , looking forward to seeing everyone enjoy this great sport , Regards MSTC , oh if iv forgotten anything I’m sure to post it , See more

12.01.2022 Hopefully soon everyone

10.01.2022 Well done to our teams that played off in their Grand finals over the weekend, congratulations to section 8 pennant on their win plus both boys earning most consistent players of that section and section 1 Sunday juniors for their win and well done to these 3 young ladies for runners up , looking forward to the Winter season bring it on

09.01.2022 Hello everyone hope you are all well , once again we have been put back into a slowdown, we are working with the council with a Action plan so we can have some coaching done which will be set out in a particular way to conform with Tennis Vic and we also will have book a court running with a plan around that too that adheres to social distances so watch this space because you will know when we do , stay safe and hope to see you all soon this week

06.01.2022 As we know things are changing by the hour and once again another change back the other way and it looks like now social tennis can still be played just can’t have everyone in the club rooms so organising can be done outside, still waiting as far as coaching goes I’m sure we shall hear from Dane about that , as for the Men’s I may start that back after Easter, so watch this space as I said changing every hour , Regards MSTC

06.01.2022 Unfortunately once again our club will be unavailable during the lockdown period, we look forward to seeing it back after ,

05.01.2022 Finally, first evening back for our in-house men’s social tennis , still with some limitations in place and a Covid plan in place it was just good to get back out on the courts, and a very warm night still over 30c when play started the winning team won every match on a tie breaker so it was a very close start for all teams that played , I think everyone just enjoyed not being locked up , only 6 more matches then it’s Xmas
