01.01.2022 There was something magical about Stace and Dan's wedding at Burbrook Forest which I've been trying to wrap altogether in photographs and words. I've constantly asked myself why this felt uniquely beautiful amongst those I've taken. I guess it's because of the genuine purity and humility of their love exuding in the vast wilderness. 01.11.2021 Spontaneous, raw, and real. We only spent 30 minutes capturing Alice and Jason's bridal pictorial at Woodhouse pine forest, crown jewel of Picadilly. These gorgeous couple were not camera shy in fact they are candidly wild, they simply want to be in their celebration and embrace the rarity of the day. And it made all the difference why this wedding photos could sing. Remembering their wedding day, I realise, documenting wedding stories in the midst of COVID has strengthened my faith in the value of family, resilience and community. ... Sam is a supportive loving man and Dayna is a lovely woman with great artistry and energy. They are best friends, complimenting each other with their strengths and weaknesses. All the elements in their beautiful rustic wedding was from their artistic and smart DIY team work. They originally began planning their dream wedding for the next year when they found out that Sam’s mom had terminal cancer. They made the decision to instead have a surprise wedding at their engagement party. Everything was fine and going to plan, a few minor hiccups but nothing major. That was until Covid hit.
