19.01.2022 #CelebritySaturday is all about celebrating the stars of our migraine world. And today we're going for simple, uncomplicated, refreshing rest and relaxation! Rest and relaxation is vital for our over-stimulated migraine brains. So if you can, take a day to step away from your devices, and give yourself over to resting your body and mind. 19.01.2022 Did you catch the last #MigraineMagicPodcast on the different types of magnesium supplements? Since then we've been dealing with a few family things - luckily it coincided with the @migraineworldsummit so we know you had lots to listen to! My aunt moved to an aged care home and so we spent a couple of weeks interstate with her moving house. We've both moved house many times before, but it's much more difficult doing the moving on behalf of someone else - especially when they... can't be with you. We all found it very emotionally exhausting in addition to the usual physical strain. We've taken a week to recover a bit mentally, but we'll have the next podcast out on Tuesday. During our time away we did manage to get our new website up with our first launch t-shirts. They're a bit like a crowd-funder and will help launch our migraine fundraising business. Check it out and tell us what you think - www.migraineawareness.com.au . We also have our podcast interview coming up with Dr. Carolyn Dean who wrote the book 'The Magnesium Miracle'. Do you have any magnesium questions that you'd like an expert to answer? Post them below and we'll be sure to cover them in our podcast interview. #MigraineMagic #ShareTheMagic

You'd never know that she's living with intractable migraine - 24/7 pain for over a year now. 13.01.2022 Do you remember Kathy and Tebek from our second-ever #MigraineMagicPodcast episode? Kathy and Teb have been such a huge part of my migraine journey. They've helped me get out for walks when I felt too scared to leave the house. They've waited while I rested or lay down along the path with bouts of dizziness and nausea. They've been there when it was all too much and I cried and felt like I wouldn't make it through. Sadly, this week Teb is no longer joining us on our walks. H...e got too ill and was experiencing too much pain. No more calls for 'happy tails' to watch his special tail wag during our walks. No more watching him swim in the creek through all kinds of crazy Canberra weather. And no more watching him roll in the garden on all the beautiful smelling plants. (He only liked the pretty fragrances!) So this week's #ThrowbackThursday episode is dedicated to Tebek. We love you Teb! http://ow.ly/g0gJ50BgxrT [ID: The image has a green background with a maroon frame and maroon writing with a photo in the centre. The writing above the photo says Kathy & Tebek. The writing below the photo is the hashtag #MigraineMagicPodcast. The photo shows Kathy with her dog Tebek. She is lying on the ground with her head on Teb's back. Teb is a black and white labrador/border collie cross. He has white paws and a greyed muzzle. He is sunbaking with his head back and paws curled. There is a lavender flower graphic overlaid on the image.]
