Should have know we’d start our own catering business when we decided to cater our own wedding for 120 people with a little help from Pinchos Catering, Andiamo Street Food and Pop Up Supper Clubs to serve on the day ... 07.01.2022 We are finally on our post Christmas/New Year break...so here comes the gushy novel of thanks. Grab a wine and light snack, then read on.... We are extremely lucky to have both sets of parents on hand to support us in every way. Mostly though looking after the kids (thank goodness), but also though garden produce supply, random kitchen support and even jumping in to carry plates. We could absolutely do what we do, without them!... Our tribe - Yup! That includes you. We have been overwhelmed by the support shown to us during the #coronacoaster Rutherglen, Corowa, Wahgunyah, Barnawartha, Wodonga, Albury and as far as Mt Beauty. You guys showed up, every week, even when the boys did the craziest of menus (The Alps was a highlight, not sure we could pronounce any of the dishes). Sure, there were favourites, but you gave it a go when we gave it a go. It is not a small thing to say that we would not be here without the support given to Milkin Eats and the word-of-mouth reviews that grew a list of loyal followers. We sincerely thank you. Rutherglen Bowling Club Inc.- these legends opened their doors to us when we needed it most. Evicted from NSW and a business to keep afloat. Welcoming and accommodating. They let us make their club rooms our own. We are excited to pay them back in sponsorship next year. So next time you see bare-foot-bowls on, or an opportunity to support your local club, please do so! James & Co. Wines & Georgie James - these bloody superstars have supported us about 1 billion % (a legitimate number) in the past 10 months. Opening up their space to include us. From this, to promoting our little business venture to their member base to the staff who seem to need our food most nights of the week. You know we love you all! Scion Wine - another couple of Rutherglen stars willing to give socially distanced, mask wearing pop-ups a go. The Albury Club - the home of our kitchen. We are thankful to the supportive board that did what they could to help us out and to the members who jumped on board with our Milkin Eats. Covid kept us apart a bit in 2020, but we still call it home And finally, our Accounts, Kilara Group (Tegan in particular), who took so many phone calls and gave so much reassurance and advice.
