12.01.2022 Chatting with @samanthaelle.x our girl, telling her story! What keeps you calm? I feel I have learnt a lot about being calm in the last 6+ months. ... I left a 10yr long career that brought me extreme stress. I set boundaries with people who drained me every time I saw them. I spent more time at home, just chilling with my husband. I created a nice nighttime routine so I could sleep better. I started having more baths, face masks, body scrubs, etc. because these things really keep me calm. It has become very evident to me lately just how bad stress is for our bodies. And just how many every day stresses we have in our lives that we believe we have to just live with. This became a huge reality for me, the fact that I finally fell pregnant within days of resigning from a job that brought me daily stress (that I had learnt to just live with). Do you think creating a more calm lifestyle will benefit you? Your health? Your relationships? It doesnt happen over night, for me its taken 6-12 months. Though I am forever grateful I have found it.
