25.01.2022 CLUB ENTRY UPDATE The situation with COVID-19 is forever changing, as of today it has been decided to change the entry requirements for the Club. Members and Visitors are now welcome to enter the Club - so long as they aren't residents or have visited any of the known hot-spots (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates) and of course Victoria. We look forward to seeing you in the Club soon and remember to make sure you book for dinner (maximum group size of 10) to avoid disappointment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

20.01.2022 I would like to give a big shout out to our AMAZING, AWESOME MEMBERS!!! We have the most generous group of Members who have donated endless amounts of time and energy to the Club. These Members turn up day in and day day out and volunteer their time to help get our Club back into shape... They have taken on the job of Master painters, Gardner’s, Carpenters and Handymen and the end result is Outstanding! ... THANK YOU!!!

19.01.2022 To all valued Members and Guests, further to our announcement regarding changes to our trading hours I wish to add that the Club is trading quite well, especially when considering the capacity restrictions placed upon all licensed venues across the State and country. There are many occasions where the "Club Full" sign is on the front doors, meaning we have reached our capacity...which is over 100 patrons at a time. The changes to trading times simply reflect the times where... very little trade is experienced - Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through the early afternoon. All businesses are (and should be) looking at ways to become more streamlined and profitable. The Club is looking fantastic after our intrepid group of volunteers and Staff have painted, cleaned, rearranged, re-carpeted and painted some more of the Club and Clubhouse...inside and out We are still providing bowls to our members almost every day of the week...we have returned to life in the catering section with Tanya returning after some difficult times and all other facilities at the Club are also doing well. It is unfortunate that we aren't running promotions such as raffles, badge draws and barefoot bowls, but during these restrictions it is almost impossible...we are looking forward to one day reinstating such events. I thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you at the Club for your continued support soon Alan Shapley

12.01.2022 Members and guests, following some long discussions in recent weeks the difficult decision has been made to "wind-back" the Clubs operating times a little. The main change being that we are closed altogether on Mondays - until further notice. Tuesday and Thursday the Club will open from 2pm Wednesday, Friday and weekends remain at 11am I anticipate that as COVID restrictions lift and the weather continues to warm that 'normal service' will resume... I apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you at the Club soon Lunches are available Wednesday, Friday to Sunday Dinners on Tuesdays to Sundays I thank you for your understanding - Alan Shapley

10.01.2022 Members and Guests, In light of the recent confirmed COVID-19 case reported in the Ulladulla and Mollymook areas the Management of the Club have made the difficult decision to close the Club for trade on Sunday 20th September and reopen Tuesday 22nd September at the regular time of 2pm. NSW Health have not advised us to close at this time, but as they are still collating the contact tracing list for this confirmed case we have decided to take these voluntary and precautionary... measures to disinfect the common areas of the facility in preparation for re-opening. If advised by NSW Health of a direct contact (or through contact tracing) that we need to ‘deep-clean’ then normal protocol dictates that an accredited and professional deep clean will be conducted. The Mollymook Beach Bowling & Recreation Club Board and Management have worked extremely hard since reopening in June, and in an attempt to normalise life reintroduced some social activities such as bowls, darts, Mahjong and bingo, all with their own COVID Safe plans. Naturally, the Club has its own COVID Safe Plan and is registered as a COVID Safe Business as per all legal requirements and continues to work hard to maintain these standards. The Management of the Club is in constant contact with NSW Health for updates and we will continue to keep updates coming onto the Clubs Facebook page if, and when they occur.
