24.01.2022 Meet a really lovely boy, Charlie, a 6YO Jack Russell. I was immediately impressed by this boy and his lovely family. They just all seemed like a really good match. An active little dog but sensible, and great for a young family like this. Mr Charlie had had a bit of a checkered past being a rescue and having had a few homes, but he is a lucky boy now because he has found a home with very caring, sensible family.... So why did they call me up ?? Because this kind family wanted to sort out a couple of little issues that were going on and reactive behavior on the lead was one of them. So you guessed it back to a discussion about personal space. Now many people might wonder how personal space is related to reactiveness on the lead. Protecting personal space is a basic conversation about leadership. When you have a reactive dog on the lead, he is basically telling you that he doesn’t regard you as a leader and feels the need to take control of the situation for you. So the training process is really about the consistency of explaining to him in as many ways as you can, that you are the leader and will keep him safe, and it all starts with personal space. Such a pleasure helping a beautiful family and their gorgeous little dog.

19.01.2022 Meet a very beautiful girl, Charli, a 12 month old female Australian Cobberdog. I had never met an Australian Cobberdog before so I was very excited to learn more about this breed. I learnt that they are basically Labradoodles that are a registered breed so that certain standards of type and temperament can be maintained. A good temperament is important as they were originally bred to be therapy dogs.... Well the beautiful Miss Charli was gorgeous and certainly had the beautiful temperament as well. Her lovely owners had called me up because this girl was a bit boisterous and had a few minor issues when out walking. She also liked to take control over the lovely older groodle that these owners also had. As you can guess if you follow my page, we started with a discussion about personal space. This is always the critical foundation of setting up leadership. If you don’t understand and have this dynamic in place, you will never have complete control of your dog. Miss Charli and her owners proved to be superstar students and Charli was soon behaving in a very respectful manner. Such a pleasure helping such kind, caring owners and their beautiful dogs.

17.01.2022 I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people who have supported me with my little business. I started three years ago with the idea of helping people and giving me something to do after raising five kids. Little did I know how my little business would explode. It has set me on a wonderful journey where I feel so privileged to be allowed into people’s homes to help them with their dogs. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a New Year filled with hope, health and happiness. Kind Regards, Angela and Georgie x

11.01.2022 Meet a very beautiful girl, Ness, a female Labrador pup. I meet many Labradors in my dog travels and usually the out-of-control ones People tell me they think about getting a dog and decide that guide dogs are beautiful and sensible so a Labrador is a good choice. They buy one and then they have their world turned upside down This was certainly the case with this girl’s lovely owner. ... Miss Ness had arrived and now this young man was hardly getting any sleep at night and not much work done during the day. Things certainly needed to change. Of course the starting point was a discussion about personal space, an important part of setting up leadership. The boisterous Ness responded beautifully and very quickly started showing much calmer, more respectful behavior. And as for sleeping at night, we discussed moving this girl into the garage with access to the backyard so this poor owner didn’t have to get up 3 times during the night to take her to the toilet. No wonder he was tired Such a pleasure meeting and helping a very caring, responsible owner and his gorgeous pup.

01.01.2022 Meet a very beautiful boy, Rocket, a two year old male cavoodle. Rocket’s lovely owners called me up because this beautiful boy was making it very difficult for his owners to walk him on the lead. Pulling and reactive behavior were the the main issues making it a very stressful time for everyone. Pulling on the lead is probably one of the most common issues I deal with on my dog travels. Everyone has a vision of going for a lovely relaxing walk with their best friend, but in ...reality, it can actually be a nightmare, with your dog pulling you madly around the block, barking at other dogs and people. Walking respectfully on the lead is very much a leadership exercise. A dog who is respectful of your leadership will want to walk beside or behind you on a very loose lead, not pulling out in front. If they are in front they are telling you that they do not regard you as the leader. It is as simple as that. By the end of the session beautiful Rocket was walking very calmly and respectfully beside his owner. Such a pleasure being able to help a lovely family and their beautiful dog.
