23.01.2022 Good Afternoon Everyone and Happy Monday!! More promising announcements and changes announced yesterday - we're definitely all heading in the right direction!! We totally understand that many of you will be wondering where things stand now with the reopening of the Club and pools this week and the regulations around it.... We can't wait to see you all back in there as soon as possible, however we are still working through the finer details and waiting for clarification on a few guidelines etc, (given that residential facilities have been treated so uniquely throughout the recent easing of restrictions we have seen over the past weeks). As SOON as we have the clarification we need, we will be sure to send out some correspondence to all Members. We will also be sending regular push notifications from the Community App. If you have not yet downloaded the community app please refer below where you can download from your preferred App Store. 19.01.2022 Please refer to latest communication from OC Manager regarding opening of our Clubhouse. Dear Members, We understand that many of you are eagerly awaiting the reopening of your Country Club and we appreciate your patience.... Following on from our recent communications relating to the opening of the Country Club, we have sought clarification from Business Victoria in relation to some of the conditions stipulated within the updated Restricted Activity Directions signed by the Chief Health Officer on 8 November 2020. This was required due to the lack of clarity regarding the classification of residential shared facilities within an owners corporation structure. In terms of the reopening of the gym we are required to have a COVID safe plan as well as a COVID Marshal on site during the hours in which the gymnasium is open for use by members. As you will be aware, the Country Club currently does not have a full-time onsite center management team member who can undertake this role, therefore we are liaising with the Committee as a priority to allow us to work through the options and the potential additional costing involved for the Owners Corporation to comply in line with the Government requirements and DHHS directives, in particular the requirement to have a COVID Marshal onsite for the gymnasium. COVID Marshals will be ensuring entry screening, physical distancing, hygiene, cleaning, record keeping and so on within the gym area. We have been working hard to obtain options and costings to put forward to your appointed Committee as quickly as possible following the recent announcements, and are aiming in the coming days to finalise the process of the Country Club openings with your appointed Committee. We will continue to keep you all updated and informed as soon as any new information is available and the opening plan is finalised by the Committee. Once again we appreciate your patience and understanding to ensure we open the Country Club safely and responsibly. 18.01.2022 Dear lot owners, it has come to our attention that the current committee has recently contemplate to spread hateful, misleading and false propaganda against us who are attempting to convene the SGM according to the OC act rule 74 (c) to terminate the contract with Quantum and address the issues created by the current committee. They are sending mails by post to all lot owners to safeguard their vested interest at the cost of lot owners' hard-earned money, which is completely... unethical. We will address their false malice propaganda soon. FYI, A letter has sent out to all lot owners for the SGM held on 07-04-2020 at 5:00 PM at Moorookyle, 2-16 Edmund drive, and an email was forwarded to Quantum to send an email to the owners on behalf of the nominated person with the SGM notice. 10.01.2022 Opening of the Country Club We have received some fantastic news in the daily press releases over the past few days in relation to further easing of restrictions. We are seeking further clarification around the opening up of residential tennis courts and outdoor pools, however at the moment, it looks as though the opening of these facilities will be in line with the opening of gymnasiums, which has been announced will be open on Monday 9th November. When these facilities ...can open for residents, there will be a booking system in place in order to comply with the operational requirements set out by the Victorian Government. We will however keep you updated via the App as finer details and regulations become a little clearer. Tennis Courts We are excited to announce that following Quantum's initial inspection of the Country Club, the Committee and Quantum have been working proactively to get the Moorookyle Tennis courts pressure washed. Please be advised that the unexpected maintenance was due to capacity issues and the chlorine filtration system unable to manage the high volume of use over the recent hot days.
