22.01.2022 Yesterday I finally got Doctors clearance for my knee replacement surgery. Originally scheduled for June, it will be next Wednesday December 16th. I will be in hospital 3-5 days and on crutches 4-6 weeks. Classes will be as normal as we have a fine group of BlackBelts to take over from me. I will be back as soon as I can, sitting in my chair and yelling a lot.

22.01.2022 Its taken 12 weeks but we have been able to finishing grading that were cut short because of Covid. Some students have had to wait all that time to receive their new belts.

19.01.2022 The government is "confident" that lockdown restrictions will be lifted by Friday. We have wasted enough time so lets get straight back into training. MasterClass back Friday and Saturday. All classes as normal on Monday, Queens Birthday Holiday. ... I will put the gradings back a week so everyone can have a chance to go over their stuff in class next week. Those with Application due, get ready to grade on them next week. The two lots of Black Belt gradings that were postponed will be rescheduled soon. Students can come to any and all classes for the next three months to catch up the time missed through the lockdown Lets hope the restrictions placed on opening will not be to harsh. 17.01.2022 As this stage the Monday forecast is for 37 degrees. Our heat policy cancels classes when Melbourne Sunday night forecast for Monday is 36 degree or above. Watch the news tonight and at this stage there will be no classes tomorrow night. Kickboxing as usual 9.30am

13.01.2022 7 Day lock down from tonight. I have decided that there will be no classes tonight and hopefully we can restart with MasterClass on June 4. Our two BlackBelt gradings will be suspended until a date that I'm comfortable in holding them. Kick Boxing will be suspended until Saturday June 5th We can all keep training next week. Do your kicks, practice your DMacs on a loved one. Work on those applications. No slacking off just because people have not done the right thing. Keep Safe David

10.01.2022 So we are closed down again. I was so proud that most of our students did make the effort to restart in the passed couple of weeks. Locked down again is another kick in the head. We will get through it and I hope that every one will be back in six weeks time. In the mean time please keep training. Seniors you have enough work to keep you occupied. We have two students getting close to their First Dan Senior Black Belt grading, so they should be busy. MasterClass students you have your books. Dont be lazy, get out and do it. Set your self a goal. "I'm going to show David XYZ when we get back to class." Keep safe everyone. See you in 6 weeks. David

09.01.2022 We are back from Next Monday November 9th. Due to Covid restrictions class numbers will be limited. I need to hear from every one what classes they want to come to. MasterClass will be back from Friday Nov 13th with one hour classes on both days Friday 5 to 6 & 6 to 7. Saturday 11.30 to 12.30 & 12.30 to 1.30. We will continue right through December and January with only a break at Christmas-New Year. January will give us some time to catch up some gradings missed for those who are ready to grade. A Club is only as strong as its members and I thank all of you for your support and look forward to seeing you all next week.

06.01.2022 Knee replacement Operation went very well (so they tell me) Bottom photo compares the left knee one day after the op. Top photo last Monday (5 days later). Bruising has come out and itching has stated. So sore and difficult to stand up. Christmas is not looking good.

06.01.2022 Monday we are back at training. No 4pm classes through out January. Monday-Tuesday & Thursday 5pm to 7pm. Taekwondo 4 & 5 pm 6pm Senior TKD. 7pm KickBoxing. 8pm Sticks.(Thursday) MasterClass Friday 5pm-6.30pm. Saturday 9.30am KickBoxing 10.30 Taekwondo 11.30 MasterClass 1pm Senior Taekwondo. Morning Kickboxing 9.30am Mon-Wed-Fri & Sat I have no objection to students coming to as many classes as they want through January. Set a goal to grade by January end, just put the work in. Double grade if you want. The challenge is out there. Stop sitting on your bum saying your on holidays. You're been on holidays for most of 2020.
