18.01.2022 THE BEAST Yes ladies and gentlemen, Daniel Beast Hutchison is back in 2021. After a very solid intro to Mid Gippsland in 2019 this strong and smart forward is thirsty for success with his new teammates. As much as he loves kicking a bag of snags he also fancies himself rolling up into the midfield action and is always someone the opposition will need to worry about. #carneast #thebeast #danielson

13.01.2022 LONTY Jarrod Lont is back again in 2021! This hard nut just never stops trying and is always cracking in around the stoppage. More than a one trick pony, Lontbox is uncanny around goal and certainly has a few sneaky tricks up his sleeve. Often underrated externally, we know exactly how valuable he is for us and we look forward to another big year from him next season. #carneast #lontbox
13.01.2022 A massive congratulations and a big good luck to our U15s, U17s and their coaches for today’s grand final! Despite COVID-19 restrictions stopping us from being on the side lines, you have the whole of MEFNC supporting you! CARN EAST!

12.01.2022 FRANGA! Desperate for success in his beloved brown and gold Brandon Francis is ready to saddle up again in season 2021. This hard nut goes where others fear to tread, putting his body on the line without a flicker of thought. We are certainly glad hes on our side. ... #carneast #frangtang #2021

Whether patrolling across half back, sweeping the stoppage, or launching them from 50, Boy possesses a piercing left leg that can put holes in ya chest! Thatta Boy!... #carneast #rippingbloke #bigheart
09.01.2022 ~ J-ROD ~ Jarryd Pickett is saddling up again in 2021. This smiling assassin had a solid 2019 season, honing his craft on the wing. 08.01.2022 To our valued East Members, Hoping you are all safe and well. A special general meeting was held by the MGFNL tonight to consider the outcome of the recommendations of the Member Application Selection Panel to the Governance Committee for the admission to the membership of the six Alberton football netball clubs into the MGFNL. The outcome of this meeting resulted in seven of the nine (75%) MGFNL clubs voting for the admission of all six clubs.
07.01.2022 EVO The running machine Brendan Evans is back in 2021! Like a fine wine this bloke just keeps getting better. With the perfect blend of speed and stamina, and a laser like kick, Evo has the ability to shut down the best forwards in the comp all the while setting up plenty of offensive plays. Named at Half Back in the 2019 MGFL Team of the Year, this experienced campaigner is ready to once again chase success for his beloved East. #carneast #evo #halfbackjet #fitasfiddle
06.01.2022 SIDS Daniel Siddle is hanging out to make his debut for the East in 2021. Lighting up the track over pre-season this endurance machine can play anywhere and his versatility will be a real asset to our side. Possessing a mean sidestep, Sidsys combination of height and athleticism give him the edge and we look forward to seeing him in the East colours next year. #carneast #sids #candysell #lovesashuffle
05.01.2022 ERIC | DIRK | EJ Our 2019 Runner-Up BnF Eric Semmler is back in 2021. No two ways about it this bloke is a star. Often flying under the oppositions radar, Dirk gets it done both inside and outside the stoppage. He is clean with the pill, strong when the heat comes, and has an innate ability to never fumble. If he takes it too another level next year the comp better look out! #carneast #dirk #EJ #jet
05.01.2022 ROB The smiling assassin Rob Michaelides is back in 2021. This slick mid is never flustered in the heavy traffic, always knowing whats around him. His pinpoint and penetrating right leg is a huge weapon and he poses a real danger to the opposition every time he has the ball in hand. #carneast #bob #roberto
05.01.2022 MANGO The forward pressure king, Zac Mangion is back in 2021. This fellas intensity around the ball is simply at another level. Flying tackles and huge run downs have always been his forte, but Mango has now added the ability to completely outwork defenders and impact the scoreboard in big games at key moments. We look forward to having Zac zinging around the forward half next year. #carneast #mango #hardnut
