30.01.2022 Saturday Pennants was a mixed day of results for the club. Division 1 played at home against Nuriootpa winning 99-87 Bo Hambly won 28-22 Brendon Taheny lost 15-21 Chad Vivian won 28-20 and also won the rink of the week.... John Webb won 28-24 Division 2 played Tanunda at Tanunda and lost 65-78 Ray Eglinton lost 17-28 Michelle Law lost 22-29 Jeremy Wohlfart won 26-21 Division played at home to Kapunda and lost 36-84 This was the first time that we have been able to fill all 3 sides with Div 3 forfeiting the last 2 games. 25.01.2022 In the Midweek competition Grand final held at Gumeracha yester Mt Pleasant played Mt Barker who had been the top team all year. In what turned out to be a very tight affair the 3 Mt Pleasant Skips Bo Hambly, Chad Vivian and Graeme Sloan managed to hold on and win the Grand final by 5 shots. Commiserations to Mt Barker. This has been our fifth attempt in recent years and finally we WON. Celebrations went late into the night at the club and the Totness Inn for Dinner. Made Thursday will be commencing at Midday at the Mt Pleasant Hotel and then at the club with night owls being played there tonight. Congratulations to all players on the day and to the other players who didn't get to play in the final but helped us get there. Tom Woolford and Bob Love.

22.01.2022 SATURDAY PENNANTS Division 1 played Lyndoch at home and were soundly defeated 79-113 Chad Vivian lost 25-26 went close only losing in the last 2 ends Bo Hambly lost 19-32 Brendon Taheny lost 16-31... John Webb lost 19-24 after being ahead most of the afternoon. Division 2 played Lyndoch at Lyndoch and lost 54-90 Michelle Law lost 15-48 Vicki Fawcett lost 12-26 Johnno Schultz won 27-16 and claimed the rink of the week. Division 3 unfortunately had to forfeit only having 3 players available with 13 players not available. We have to increase our numbers so this does not continue to happen. 22.01.2022 We are able to practice on Thursday night but NO night owls. Hopefully after the 1st Decembers that MAY be able to resume. So see as many members as we can on Thursday night for practice.

12.01.2022 It wasn't a good for Mt Pleasant in all divisions. Division 3 played at Oakbank and was comprehensively defeated. Division 2 played Mt Barker at Mt Pleasant in conditions that can only be described as horrific with the wind. The whole green was covered in leaves, sticks and gum nuts and made the day very hard for all teams. They were also defeated. Liz Loves rink was the only one to win on the day. Division 1 hosted Lenswood and were defeated by 10 shots with the rink of Graeme Sloan being the only winner on the day and also receiving the rink of the week. Trying conditions for all playing yesterday with winds gusting up to 118km/h at nearby Mt Crawford.

03.01.2022 THURSDAY PENNANTS The ladies played Tanunda at home in the morning. Unfortunately they were on able to muster 9 players. they were soundly defeated 16-130 shots. They all tried hard in very hard circumstances. the men went to Tanunda in the afternoon to play their division 1 side. The succeeded in having a win 64-54 shots. Chad Vivian lost 18-21... Bo Hambly won 21-18 Graeme Sloan won 23-14 and also gained the rink of the week. this was our very first success in the Barossa Light Association. See more
