16.01.2022 UPDATE OF WHAT'S HAPPENING IN MULLION CREEK: Thanks to Cabonne Council they have now officially taken over the Mowing of the Mullion Creek Reserve, road sides and the area adjoining the Church as required. Thank you to all the local community members that have been volunteering their time to mow the reserve and other areas for many many years. ... Tennis Courts: Construction of the tennis courts and pathway is due to start in the Spring 2019, due to weather requirements for stability of materials used. Hall refurbishment is due to start in End March/April 2019 with the ground stabillisation as the initial start of works, the hall and supper room will be unavailable for the time of the repairs. We are in the process of submitting a grant into Crown Lands for weed control at the back of the reserve, which will start beginning of 2020, however we will be doing some immediate spraying in March 2019. The upgrade of Burrendong Way (North of village) is nearing completion and looking great. They are cleared trees, widened the road and tarred. Make sure you check out our website for more information about MCDPA and we will keep you up to date there when more details come available. https://www.mullioncreekprogress.com/
