08.01.2022 Switch to a card that plants trees. Many of you are aware of Ecosia, it’s a search engine that plants trees just by using it. They have brought out a wooden deb...it card which you pre-load with money. When you use the card the transaction fee paid by the retailer is used to plant more trees. The card is completely free to get too, just quite a long waiting list at the moment. #GoGreen

06.01.2022 Start making change today From 1st October (that's today!) the people of WA can now get a 10 cent refund on beverage containers. The aim is to reduce lit...ter and inprove recycling. This sculpture is installed at Yagan Square as part of the launch and is made of 10,000 water bottles - the number of containers the people of WA use every 4 minutes There's more information on the Containers for Change WA website (which was down when I checked two minutes ago ) and I'll pop some info in my stories too. The refund only applies to containers purchased or litter collected today or later (legacy purchases aren't eligible). Photo credit: @trace.w See more
