23.01.2022 Please welcome the newest member to our team, Psychologist Mathew Heilig! Mathew will be joining us on Monday's and Tuesdays from 8am-3:30pm. Consultations with Mathew start at $130, with a Medicare rebate of $84.80 for patients with an eligible Care Plan. Mathew is a Registered Psychologist, who completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. Mathew has experience in working across the lifespan with various presentations including anxiety and mood disorde...rs, personality disorders, grief and loss, emotion regulation, behaviour management, and health behaviour change. Mathew has experience working with both individuals and groups. Mathew has particular interests in working with adults whom are experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, and co-morbid chronic health issues and their management. In addition to working with individuals in a private practice setting, Mathew works part-time in a hospital facilitating skill-based CBT groups for anxiety and mood disorders, as well as skill-based DBT groups for borderline personality disorder. Mathew approaches his work with clients in a collaborative manner, working with the client to achieve their therapeutic goals. 03.01.2022 **CHRISTMAS HOURS** Good morning everyone. Although we have signs up around the practice we thought posting our Christmas hours here would help out a bit more Over the Christmas period we will be closed over the following dates December: 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, and 31st January: 1st, 2nd and 4th ... Dr Amar and Dr Jas will be working their last days on the 27th and 28th of December before they go away for a well deserved 3 week break. Be sure to book in with them early for these last few days as they will book out quickly. We will have locum doctors working for the first few weeks of January starting with Dr Chaminda who will return to work with us for Thursday the 3rd of January and then again from Monday the 7th until Thursday the 17th of January. Dr McMillan will join us from the 7th of January until the 18th Dr Amar and Dr Jas will be starting back on Monday the 21st of January.
