24.01.2022 Recently returned International Youth Exchange student Trinity Barton, who spent 9 months in France, dropped in to the club to say "hello". Trinity will present to the club in late January or early February to talk about her OS adventure.

23.01.2022 Congratulations Kahlee, Gemma and Lucas.

22.01.2022 Why not grab a coffee from one of the nearby cafès and enjoy a game or two?

20.01.2022 Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from the paralyzing disease of polio. Let’s continue to help eradicate this deadly disease. #WorldPolioDay2020

20.01.2022 Happy 17th birthday to our exchange student Trinity. Stay safe and enjoy your French celebrations.

19.01.2022 Busy lunchtime at the Myrtleford speedway today. Great to see locals and visitors enjoying the day.

19.01.2022 A Day at the Races They're a dapper crew when they attend the races, 'cepting of course our bleary eyed security fella. Alma led the early charge, but I'm sorry to say this distance didn't suit and she'd fallen well back into the field by the finish.

15.01.2022 From our family to yours, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

15.01.2022 Tonight we had our District Governer Bruce Anderson 'attend' our Zoom meeting, along with our Assistant Governer Melissa Hebbard.

15.01.2022 Congratulations Clive, a former president of our Rotary Club, former District Governer and current Rotary E-Club member. A well deserved recognition for all that you have done for our community. https://www.facebook.com/153563821386109/posts/4079299818812470/?sfnsn=mo

15.01.2022 You could say "About..." As the first woman to be nominated to be president, Jones understands how important it is to follow through on Rotary’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Statement. I believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion begins at the top and for us to realize growth in female membership and members under the age of forty these demographics need to see their own reflection in leadership, Jones said. I will champion double-digit growth in both categories while never losing sight of our entire family. [Ryan Hyland, RI]

13.01.2022 Congratulations Giordana!

11.01.2022 Our club is proud to support this local project. Looking forward to seeing lots of young at heart playing this in Jubilee Park.

11.01.2022 At tonight's meeting we wore our finest millenary to raise funds for Rotary's Lift the Lid for Mental Health. Fines were awarded for various categories, including most formal, most Australian, tallest and fanciest. Liz's 80 year old Fez was awarded both the 'hat from furthest away' and the 'oldest hat'. Phil and Joyce joined us from their hotel quarantine in Tasmania with some questionable headwear.

10.01.2022 An historic moment at the 2021 Virtual Rotary Convention: For the first time in Rotary’s 116-year-long history, a female Rotarian has accepted the nomination to be Rotary International President! Congratulations Jennifer Jones.

10.01.2022 The theme for tonight's meeting was "A Day at the Races". The accurate one, John Forsyth, called the two Races; The Myrtleford Rotary Race of a Century and The Covid Chase for Allcomers. The Form Guide didn't really give any clues as to the outcome, but was entertaining in itself. Well done, John.

08.01.2022 A Day at the Races Despite having the mystery Box Trifecta, the Odds and Evens short tickets and the Long Shot, John McIlroy went home with a balanced budget.

04.01.2022 Thank you to Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia in joining us to celebrate Rotary’s 100 years of service in Australia and New Zealand.

01.01.2022 Chin up. It's gotta be better next year. So many local community events cancelled; together we will ride this out. Wishing all our locals a great Christmas with family and friends. Back on track in 2021
