18.01.2022 A new generation of ship models has arrived in store. Thankfully these come fully assembled because the level of detail is quite awesome. Shown in our photo is Cutty Sark but we also have a German tallship called Passat and a Norwegian vessel called Suomen Joutsen. Each measures approx. 52cm*32cm and is priced at $159.

15.01.2022 Thank you to these lovely customers from India who visited the Night Market on Wednesday and were kind enough to buy from us.

14.01.2022 Some great new whale themed decor has arrived including whale bookends, whale tail hooks, and some wonderful rustic wood whale wall hangings. But our favourite has to be the Wally The Walrus door stopper. All available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and (from 10th April) Wednesday nights at Queen Victoria Market.

14.01.2022 This stunning graphic of a breaching whale is printed on tempered glass so it really pops. Large bonded metal fittings ensure secure location on your feature wall. The second photo shows some of the wonderful detail in the print. Available at $89 from our Queen Victoria Market Container.

13.01.2022 We love ships and we love dumplings, and on Monday we get to combine the two. Melbournes International Dumpling Festival is being held at the Queen Victoria Market on Monday 4th November from 12 noon until 10pm and we are open. Check us out in String Bean Alley and bring your chopsticks.

12.01.2022 We generally show you images of our wonderful nautical goods rather than us but we have a big announcement to make - we are retiring from business. After 40 years at the iconic Queen Victoria Market we are moving on and hopefully passing on our business to new owners. Nautical Replicas is up for sale and you will find ads on Gumtree and other Business for Sale sites over coming weeks. This is the first public announcement of our intentions and expect more as we progress. Regards - Greg & Sue.

12.01.2022 The Queen Victoria Market remains open.

12.01.2022 Winter is Coming

12.01.2022 Did we say its nearly Fathers Day? Whether it be a ship in a bottle, a classic tallship, a yachting cap (make mine Captain please kids), or a solid brass door bell, we have something for nautical Dads. Visit us at Container 2 in String Bean Alley, Queen Victoria Market, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Wednesday night.

10.01.2022 Thank you to these lovely customers from Hong Kong who purchased a sailboat today.

10.01.2022 Grand Sale!! - Nautical Replicas is having a once in 40 years clearance sale. So if you have hankered over one of our beautiful yacht models or perhaps our unique boat shelves, now is the time to act. On sale until 11th March unless sold out.

09.01.2022 Well, we are closed down again, at least in our Container at the Queen Victoria Market. Unfortunately nautical decor is not considered essential shopping (we have to agree), but our website is still available for online orders. And the market remains open for all your fresh food requirements - still the best place to shop for food in Melbourne. Take care out there - Greg & Sue.

08.01.2022 Looking to decorate your home? The Cruising Sloop is now on sale for $120.00. The fully assembled model is the perfect present for your family and friends as well. 05.01.2022 Daughter of Pearl Lugger Builder Visits Our Stall - Edie Wright is the Daughter of Doug DAntoine, a foreman at the Broome shipyard where the lugger shown in our photo in 1952 was built. Doug worked as a boat builder from 1948-1958. The Ancel and another lugger from that era can be found at the Fremantle Maritime Museum. Edie declined the offer of a photo but it was great to talk with her about some of the history of Broomes early pearling days. Thanks for stopping at our stall Edie.
