23.01.2022 Happy Mothers Day to all of our Mums on this special day. Although, a little different this year, our feelings remain the same. We wish you nothing but the best with love, health and happiness. Special thoughts and prayers are with all those that no longer have our beautiful Mums with us, but know that they are watching over and guiding us everyday.

23.01.2022 What a beautiful Church.

23.01.2022 COVID-19 FUNERAL SERVICES UPDATE. From Sunday 14th June, effective immediately, the NSW Government removed the restriction on Funeral services, memorial services and after funeral gatherings from the general limit of 50 people, to instead ensure that all venues apply the one person per four square meter rule for all indoor services, with extra mourners being able to gather outside and view the service on monitors, where they are available. Social distancing guidelines of 1.5... metres between people MUST continue to occur whilst outside at all venues, including ALL burial services. As per Government regulations, you will be asked to supply your name and contact number before being permitted to attend a service, for tracing purposes. Along with everyone, whilst we welcome the further easing of restrictions, it is important for everyone to have a clear understanding that for all indoor services, the number of people able to attend inside will be dictated by the size of the individual venue, as per the one person per four square meter rule. Effectively, this means that there is no change to the number of mourners allowed indoors, as this rule has been in place for several months now. The changes have allowed for extra mourners to be able to gather outside these venues, and at burial services, providing that social distancing is maintained at all times. Please note that some venues have placed their own restrictions on numbers outside, to ensure that social distancing can be maintained in their available space. Free recordings and live streaming is available at many venues, or it can be arranged on your behalf where these services are not available. Right through this pandemic, we and our team have been here to support all of our families through what has been a very difficult period, and like always, we will continue to do so with care and compassion. It is important that if you are in need of our services, or you have any questions about these latest changes, to contact us on 4722 8222 and we will gladly answer any questions, provide you with guidance, advice, and information about the individual numbers at all of our churches, chapels and other service facilities. Best wishes to everyone, Jim & Janet.

16.01.2022 Congratulations Danielle Marchant - Civil Celebrant, the new website looks fantastic. Many of our families know Danni well, she not only provides our families with beautiful stationery, but those wanting a Celebrant to officiate a service for their loved one, she does so with warmth, compassion, understanding and complete professionalism.

16.01.2022 During these difficult times, we continue to provide our families the same level of service, with understanding, care and compassion.

For many of us, it can be a difficult time, especially when we are missing those special people in our lives, that are no longer with us. May you be surrounded by the love of family and friends, and be comforted in the knowledge that they are always with you in your heart, and watching over you with a smile

13.01.2022 COVID-19 Update on Funeral Services. Today we received the welcome news that as of this FRIDAY 15 MAY 2020, Funeral services in NSW will be allowed 20 attendees for indoor venues, and 30 attendees for outdoor venues. Normal social distancing guidelines will still apply for all services. This is a great step in the right direction as we begin the long road to recovery, and hopefully, out of this worldwide pandemic. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our famil...ies for their assistance and co-operation as we have worked together during these unprecedented times. If you have any questions about the new guidelines, or we can assist in any way, please call us on 4722 8222. Best wishes to everyone, Jim & Janet See more

12.01.2022 A very real insight into the industry that we work in everyday. A behind the scenes look at the life of the amazing people at one of Sydneys busiest Family owned Funeral homes.

11.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon we had the privilege of being invited to tour the brand new, purpose built and state of the art Coroners and Forensic Medicine facility at Lidcombe, which only opened early this year, after being located at Glebe for so long. To call it impressive is an understatement, but more importantly we learned how well that our loved ones are cared for, should they have to come under the care of the coronial system, and alot of great information that we can pass on to our families. Even the gardens, grounds and cafe are beautiful!

11.01.2022 A very special celebration today....

08.01.2022 COVID-19 - Update to Funeral Service Attendances in NSW. We are pleased to be able to let you know that yesterday, the NSW Minister for Health, Brad Hazzard announced that Funeral Services can now have 10 attendees, and that all necessary Funeral staff and the officiating clergy/celebrant are no longer included in that number. Under the current circumstances, this is great news for our families and brings NSW in line with our southern neighbours in Victoria. Of course, the f...our metre square rule still applies for indoor venues and the standard 1.5m social distancing guidelines apply for all other locations. As always, we are here to help and guide you through these difficult times and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Together, our community and country will get through this. Jim and Janet

07.01.2022 COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS. How is it affecting FUNERAL SERVICES AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW?? Our world has certainly moved into some very challenging, worrying and unprecedented times in the past weeks and months, and unfortunately it looks as though we have a way to go before the situation shows any signs of improvement, and life as we know it, returns to some sort of normality....Continue reading

07.01.2022 So true, and what a powerful message.

07.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all Dads, Grandads and Father figures, and especially those who are now Angels looking after us from above

07.01.2022 At the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month we pause to remember those who gave us so much and the freedom we enjoy today. LEST WE FORGET #RemembranceDay2020

07.01.2022 We like to plan most things in our lives, so why do so many of us leave the planning of our funeral to our loved ones? Some great things to consider here...

06.01.2022 COVID-19 update in relation to Funeral Services from 1 June 2020. The NSW Government has announced that as of Monday 1 June, 50 mourners will be permitted at all Funeral Services, both indoor and outdoors. This is in addition to all necessary funeral staff and clergy/celebrant. Whilst this news is extremely welcome, please understand that the four square meter rule and normal social distancing guidelines must still be adhered to. Basically, this means that depending on the si...ze of the venue, that will determine the amount of mourners that are permitted to attend, but 50 will be the maximum. Please note that no mourners will be permitted to stand outside, as has been the case since the restrictions commenced. Live streaming and recordings are available at many venues, and can be arranged for you. As always, we are available at any time to answer your questions and offer advice and guidance through these rapidly changing, and difficult times. We can be contacted on 4722 8222. Best wishes to you all, Jim and Janet.

06.01.2022 Extremely sad news to hear of the C130 Large Air Tanker crash in the Snowy Mountains today. Three brave heros from the US have lost their lives, whilst trying to help our country. Our deepest condolences to their families and all their colleagues at Coulson Aviation. May they Rest in Peace

03.01.2022 COVID-19 and Funeral Services update. As you would be aware, the Government currently has restrictions on all Funeral Services, limiting the number of attendees to 10, including clergy/celebrant and necessary staff. These are uncertain times and extremely challenging for everyone, but none more so than for a family that has lost a loved one. There are many options that are available, such as live streaming, same day videography links and recordings that allow all of your fam...ily and friends to participate and view the service. We will work with you during these difficult times and do everything in our power to help and guide you through with care, compassion and our always honest advice. We can be contacted on 4722 8222 for any questions or concerns. Please keep your families safe, Jim and Janet See more

02.01.2022 As we approach ANZAC DAY for 2020, the current situation means that traditional dawn services and marches will not be possible this year, but more than ever, it is so important to remember and recognise all the men and women that have served, and continue to serve our country, and especially those who lost their lives in doing so. This year, we unite in our homes to remember, reflect and express our sincere thanks and gratitude for their service to us all. LEST WE FORGET

02.01.2022 With great sadness, we join our community, state and all of Australia in paying our respect to Deputy Captain Geoffrey Keaton and Firefighter Andrew ODwyer, both from Horsley Park Brigade, who tragically lost their lives in a vehicle accident whilst fighting the Green Wattle Creek fire, south west of Sydney last night. We offer our sincere condolences to their families, friends and colleagues. They paid the ultimate price for protecting us all, and we will be forever grateful to them for their service. May they Rest in Peace
