25.01.2022 WINTER MARKET CANCELLED The Nethercote Produce Market committee has sadly had to cancel our Winter market for 2020. We know how much we and all of you were looking forward to it. However, the restrictions imposed on us would have meant no tastings, no self service fruit and veg, cashless payments only, limited people inside, limited flexibility to move stalls outside due to lack of even ground and space. Plus all the additional hygiene requirements etc. The greatest thing ...about the Nethercote market is the opportunity for people to catch up and socialise that amazing vibe that happens in the hall when it is humming with people and the sounds of tunes it just wouldn’t be the same if we are having to focus on the ‘shop and go’ ethos - we want people to shop and linger!! If you're craving fresh fruit and veges remember that From Little Things in Merimbula and Sprout Eden Cafe & Local Produce Store in Eden as well as Pambula Wholefoods offer freshly grown local produce as well as some of the local jams, pickles and sauces. And you can pick up bread from Wild Rye's bakery in Pambula and oysters from Broadwater Oysters - Pambula Lake, NSW. 13.01.2022 Hi everyone, just an update on our market. We have decided to CANCEL THE SPRING MARKET that would normally be held at the end of October and concentrate on bringing you a great summer market in January 2021. We understand the Nethercote Residents' Association is moving forward with their deck building plans on the south side of the hall which will enable our market to spread out in the future, and hopefully by then the COVID-safe requirements for markets will also have relaxed a little. We know this will disappoint many, we feel the same way. Thank you for your continued support of our volunteer-run-market and stallholders. We look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
