23.01.2022 Morning everyone, here’s a Monday morning update that isn’t happening too often for obvious reasons. Numbers are going down rapidly in Victoria at the moment so we are hoping that come November we will be back at it and catching up with everyone plus drilling all that gear some people have sitting around. Recently we have noticed certain elements creeping into the industry, almost looking like their sole intention is to put other pro shops out of business. Happy to report New... Era Bowling won’t be going anywhere and will resist any form of sabotage. For this reason, we will be forced to charge a premium rate for any ball brought in not purchased through us. Our pricing is very competitive anyway with gear bought through us, plus you get the value of being an in centre proshop and all the advantages that go with it. The Melbourne market is quite strong (COVID) aside and there are plenty of good shops that are there for their customers. So support your in centre proshop, we will be back before you know it with all the good service and friendliness that you’re used to Take care everyone and stay safe ****As an addition I would like to say that after being contacted by someone I respect in the industry, some very reputable proshop operators are unable to find space in a centre, with centres not wanting to dedicate that space to a proshop. They still support pro shops, distributors and operate within acceptable market ranges and do what that can, having spent years honing their craft in the proshop. 22.01.2022 So from today’s presser from Dan Andrews outlined his plan for getting out of this mess. It looks like the soonest we are going to be able to bowl again in Victoria (if things go according to plan) is late November. Although we are closed and doing it tough having been closed for 6 months now, we are still doing some online sales and hoping that things improve sooner rather than later. We are ready and waiting to go on that day and will be here for everyone’s needs. Until ...that time, take care, stay safe and please contact us if there is anything you need. 13.01.2022 Huge congrats to Jason Turai in taking out the November adult circuit event in South Australia today. Jason used the Radical Bonus which we managed to get to him just in time. We laid this out with a very versatile 55 x 4 1/2 x 45 layout, enabling him to use the lower diff core to keep the ball out of trouble and shoot some great games on the way to the victory. Congrats buddy and thanks for allowing us to take care of your proshop needs!

10.01.2022 Good morning all As you would all be aware, the situation in Victoria isn’t the best with daily cases of 300-500 not slowing down and daily deaths increasing. Unfortunately New Era Bowling is unable (and unwilling) to open at this time as bowling is in complete shut down. We have still managed to sell a few things online and to interstate customers but for the most part the hiatus is total. Please contact me for any preorders and anyone who has gear waiting, it’s still there.... I have managed to get some balance hole plugging done but please be patient with the rest. I did have the opportunity to travel to Morwell (hopefully after the pandemic) for work but I personally believe traveling and therefore possibly spreading COVID-19 for a non essential service is completely irresponsible. If you’re one of those people who think that wearing a mask is impinging on my civil liberties or doesn’t apply to me, unless you have a medical or legitimate reason, please put the mask on and don’t be an idiot. Even if you drop the transmission by 50% at least it’s something. Despite what a very vocal minority say, this virus is contagious and it kills. Please take care everyone, wear your masks, social distance, sanitize and don’t travel unless you have to! Adam
